So you just ignore anyone who disagrees with you and then call them a bandwagon fan? You're a wimp, Ron.
I really like Ron. He brings a lot to the board. Having said that, claiming people should bandwagon other teams because you don't have confidence in Pruitt is as bad as saying people that support Pruitt are the reason TN sucks and are supporting the continuance of mediocrity.

The old saying comes to play here: "Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me."

Well, screw me thrice, I'm an idiot. I'm tired of hearing "he inherited a mess", " Nick Saban wouldn't have any better record". That's hogwash. Is it a great roster? Hell no. Is it a better roster than GA State? Yes, by a wide margin. The question for everyone should be: do you think this team has underachieved, overachieved, or just achieved. I think if you are honest with yourself, you know this team hasn't performed up to it's talent level.

If it's all on the players then it's really on the coaches for not pushing the right buttons. If Pruitt has alienated the upper class men then, it's on him, especially if he's continued to play them.

Many say "If we had a serviceable QB we'd be at worst 3-1 right now". We'll, who's trotting him out there? Who didn't attempt to bring in a Graduate transfer last year? Who has not prepared one of the backups? If JG sucks that bad, surely one of the two backups could have been ready.

I don't hate Pruitt. I just have zero confidence he's going to get it done. I've said many times, he's never had to work with less than super star talent. He needs superstar talent to succeed and while he's done well with a few, he's not recruiting at a high enough talent level to succeed. And realistically staring down the barrel of a 2-10 season, recruiting will not lend itself to achieving those recruiting goals. I think it was a huge mistake to have brought him in to this dumpster fire. It was really unfair to him and I don't blame him. Who wouldn't take a job like TN as a young coordinator?

TN will be good again when they hire a coach that doesn't have to have on-the-job training.

Does it help our crootin’ more if Arky wins or A&M? Personally I think an Arky win is better for us because they are going to get slaughtered by other teams. Thoughts?

Some real vintage throwback jerseys with our orange tops and brown pants like what Wisconsin is rocking right now would be siiiiicccckkkkk

FAHR PRUITT!!!! HAHR ANYBODY..SOMEBODY..

And before you tell me to take a break again @InVOLuntary ...I am not totally disagreeing with you...

I am just emphatically saying that if you fire Pruitt you better f'n have a much better candidate already lined up..or it is just a waste of more time and more money..

And nobody else (at least anybody that is even remotely realistic to take this job) is going to recruit any better here than these guys are...period. I think it is stupid to say otherwise.

Go ahead, find it genius. Where did I say fire him?

(If you look close enough, you might find where I said the opposite)
Ok genius..that is the gist of what you said, no matter if you just came out and honestly said it or not. I like you, there is no reason to be a dick. I was being good naturedly sarcastic.

I never said fire him. I don't believe they will or do I think they should, even at 1-11, which I think is entirely possible this year. I just know how this movie ends. Recruiting will tank, we'll continue to suck, bad assistants will be sacrificed. Good assistants will flee the sinking ship. The roster will deteriorate with players leaving.

We can't fire him this year because no good coach will want to come here because we don't give them adequate time to fix it. So we wait till that perception is nullified. Then we fire them and no good coach wants to take over a program with a dumpster fire of a roster. It's truly a no win scenario.

I've said all along it's going to take mega amounts of money to fix it. The only way to overcome all that is to overpay an established coach where the odds are much greater for success than rolling the dice on these up-and-comer coaches. Everyone has a price. Some are astronomical and are not realistic, but some will come if you shock them with the money. Doubt it happens though. As long as fans support whatever the university decides to feed them, then there is no reason to change. I have a feeling that the fans are becoming more and more apathetic with each passing abysmal season. I think the boosters are too. It may be too late.

I didn't realize calling someone a genius was being a dick. I was returning with kind.

I never said fire him, ever. I said I don't have any confidence in him. I'm sorry if that bothers you, Ron, or whoever. I've seen nothing to this point in his tenure, especially since the KY game last year that tells me he's the one to resurrect this program. If anything, it's gotten worse.

Look back over any previous coach or coaching search. How has it all played out? We are all so sure of this coach or whatever, and we are always wrong. We hit one thing and look good for a moment, but we mostly have no idea what we are talking about.

3 years ago, Fuente looked awesome.
Taggart seemed ready to run with FSU
Orgeron couldn’t get out of his own way and ran off a top coordinator
Dooley was a joke
Chip Kelly was going to destroy at his next stop

It’s comical how little we know and how loudly we proclaim it
True but none of that explains : Western Michigan 57, Georgia State 10.

Careful. You’re gonna end up on some ignore lists, and they WON’T hesitate to tell you about it.

Here are some comparisons of Pruitt, Frost and Taggart so far.

Scott Frost - Nebraska
7-9 overall
PPG 32.1
Points allowed per game 29.5
Best win Michigan State 2018
Worst loss Troy 2018

Willie Taggart - FSU
7-9 overall
PPG 24.2
Points allowed per game 33.3
Best win #20 Boston College 2018
Worst loss Boise State 2019

Jeremy Pruitt - Tennessee
6-10 overall
PPG 23.5
Points allowed per game 27.5
Best win @ #21 Auburn

Pruitt's defense is the only one of the three to record a shutout with two of them
