Yeah with Ignont & Reid leaving, that to me at least pretty much puts Beasley at ILB. He's already got good size, pretty good frame. Similar to Henry T, has played a lot of different positions so you know he's got the IQ & athleticism.

I agree, I know a lotta people aren't high on AT, but honestly I feel like the secondary is just better with him and Bryce as the starters. Shamburger, Burrell, George all in rotation...I like that group, and short of a few plays they've played well.

Safety play has to improve so I'm all for Jaylen being put into action sooner, rather than later. Him and Theo might play great...and Flowers/Warrior may benefit from just being rotation guys.

Virginia isn't Tennessee. And Bronco won 10+ games 5 times in 10 seasons at BYU. That's the difference.
well, that's kind of my point. he's a good, experienced, successful head coach. and he couldn't go in to the ACC, which we all think suuuuuxxxxx, and win more than 2 games in year 1?

wonder why? he's not a 1st timer? he knows what culture he wants? why didn't it happen.........................immediately..........for him, with his resume?

what happened to all the "good coaches don't lose to so and so" talk?

dude lost 10 games in year one.....but he doesn't suck.....cause...NOT Tennessee? that's all i can come up with lol.

if nothing else, i'd say this furthers my point that you give Pruitt til year 4 and see what we got, then let's compare notes.

Maurer had a few RPO's on his first drive. He just pulled them each time and threw it.
Interesting. I don’t have the eye for it so at least that’s a positive sign.

Simonton wrote before the game that Maurer is our backup essentially directly because of his RPO ability and they were able to install those packages really quickly. It seemed dumb to me to not use it. Turns out I’m the dummy.

So many posters facing reality with what ifs. Sickening that we are reduced to this.
does it really matter what side of this thing you fall in, isn't it all "what if" when talking about what happens................next?
today, err'body gotta 50/50 shot at being wrong.

Sham has been pretty good this season at Star...quitely i might add, and that's not a bad thing for him. lol.

The humor has definitely gone up. Acceptance stage. I’m all for it.

In case y'all haven't noticed, this is my go-to gif for acceptance. I stole it, though. It's from this article from a few years ago (which they re-published last month, for some reason): A Tennessee emotion map

It's actually pretty funny, then you start crying.

ACC is a lesser confers sure but Virginia doesn’t have a fraction of the resources and power that TN does. So i would say winning in the ACC at Virginia is basically the same difficulty as winning in the SEC with Tennessee.

Also, no one even halfway hinted at at firing Pruitt after year one. So they both got complete passes with any and all negatives from year 1.

If Pruitt goes 6-6 in year 2 like bronco did i also don’t think he’s getting any real flack.

Willie B and Sevier County game is spicy!
I watched a lot of the second half. It was a fun game to watch. Dumb decision by the coach to go for 2 in OT when the other team would have had a chance to tie on their possession. It cost WB the game, though, I guess he did not have faith that SC would not block the XP again.

i don't either, i just find it odd that we have a faction that is dead set on firing Pruitt, like right now...(and I, well, given how this season started, cant say i didn't expect that to happen...)...but are going to use a guy that won 8 games in his first two years at a lesser program, after being pretty successful as a HC at a previous stop, as example #1 as to why we need to fire the guy we got now?

huh? if our guy wins 8 games in two years, the calls for Pruitt's head aren't going to go away, and there sure won't be too many people saying "but look at What bronco mendenhall is doing UVA, pruitt sucks, even that guy is better" lol......

bottom line, i don't see anyone that would trade Bronco's first 2 years for Jeremy's at this point.

the only difference is Bronco got the opportunity to get to a 4-0 start in year 4. i think that's most certainly TBD in the case of Pruitt.

lol.

I just got an e-mail with tracking info for my College Colors Day Tee (the shirt in my profile pic). It's out for delivery! I'll post a pic when I get it. Has anyone else received theirs?
I got mine. Wasn't sure about fit, so opted for the larger size...'twas a mistake.
