Losses like today used to keep me up game night. I used to have to take a couple of Benadryl to help fall asleep. Now I don't really care. I expect to lose. My give-a-dang is broken.
I hadn't watched a down of college football after GA state until after UTC. Won't bother watching anymore. UT has ruined it for me.UT being awful for so long has not only broken my give a damn, but it has actually made me far less of a sports fan in general. I barely watch CFB and the NFL now (being a Titans fan doesn’t help either). Just tired of being bad and having it affect my mood and my weekends.
Last thing we need is a coaching change. Just gotta keep the wagons circled until we can fix the roster. The Tyson Helton experiment continues to be a fatal flaw of Pruitt’s HC tenure. All three QBs on scholarship were recruited by other staffs with major question marks as evaluators. We have 2 projects and a Butch Jones victim with severe PTSD. Chaney has weapons at his disposal and a sufficient line, but has been totally hamstrung by a passer who can’t even throw an accurate screen. An infusion of talent makes coaches look much better, as we’ve seen with the O-line, we just need that infusion at every position group...which takes time for recruitment and development.
WE HAVE TO STOP MISSING ON QBS
So sickening thinking what could have been watching Martinez, Minshew, Howell, Lawrence...even GTs! How did we not even try for Hurts, Fields, or Bryant? Reality is we have a MAC qb room right now, and that makes it real hard to win SEC games.
Bailey is a Pruitt recruit and is Chaney approved. Keeping Bailey is really important to this rebuild. Would have been ideal to land him and Haynes King, but hopefully Maurer and Hill are able to provide constructive competition for Bailey if he sticks. So we should dump Bailey. He was a Helton recruit. Wasn't recruited by Chaney at GA.
