Bold Prediction for this weekend

I'm staying with my preseason prediction that UT finds a way to beat Florida, and I'll add that I think UGA flops against Notre Dame in front of all those recruits they are bringing to the game. Wishful thinking, yeah probably but it just seems too Tennessee not to beat them when we shouldn't and UGA is predestined to choke at some point and this weekend seems like a great time!
I know it's taboo, but I am rooting for Notre Dame to win. I hate Georgia.

The bad thing is, I am absolute kryptonite to anyone that I root for this year so that doesn't bode well for the fighting Irish.

With them losing(what luck) to KY they will be so alert for anything this week against a rival like us. And they Have a back up so they'll play even harder and the crowd will be behind them even more. And Trask is just as good as Franks just different. So look for us to play hard but be overwhelmed by the 3rd quarter. This is worse than if both teams were undefeated. I'm pulling for my Vols but I say 35-21 turds.
They didnt lose to kentucky.

I know that. The point is they know they should have lost. They'll be ready for us.
They are always ready for us. Have you not seen our historical record? Also, Kentucky would have beaten us my 20 or more this weekend. Its most likely that Florida could completely overlook us and still won by 14 or more.

When did this "losing to ky" take place??? I noticed your post 8:43, 9/16/2019, Monday, I thought I watched the Fl-KY game on SAT, but as I'm getting old, did I miss something?

I disagree we should have lost, but we easily could have lost.

We outscored UK 19-0 in the 4th. Their kicker missed a FG. We added a dagger TD to seal it following that miss.

One thing that’s not mentioned is Mullen’s UF teams’ ability to come from behind and pull away late. It’s happened in comeback wins last season against Vandy, South Carolina, LSU and Michigan, and this year against UK.

Call it luck, blame the refs...but Mullen’s teams don’t quit.

FL is an SEC team, they won't need a big "pep" talk to get ready for us, just remind them how GS kicked our butts, that will be enough! Throw in the BYU facts-they'll come out ready to make damn sure they aren't going to be laughed at, as we are being laughed at now. Sorry, but I see the final as FL 45 TN 13.
Final observation: FL can come from behind, and plays hard for all four quarters (against SEC opponents). TN has a habit of playing two quarters (if that much), not being able to come from behind, has not played a single down against SEC competition this year, and having a QB that is "temperamental" when things don't go his way-it is not conducive to team unity, all this spells trouble not just for the FL game, but the rest of the year.

UF won't need to be but SO ready to beat this UT team. We've lost to MUCH worse UF teams than this one.
It would be wise to start warming up to the very high possibility of a 2-3 win season. There is not a team left on our schedule, including UAB, that cannot beat this team. And after 12 or so games, I've seen enough to know that our HC aint all that.
His recruiting will determine his fate, IMO.
Just imagine what bUTch would have been if not for Dobbs/Kamara/Barnett/Hurd. He was pathetic as a coach and teacher but lucked out when he got these players.

By the way Florida's QB is a career backup. Even in high school he was a backup.

They will still destroy our defense.

I definitely don't see UT as world beaters (who really could at this point if they are being honest) , but I have not been overly impressed with Florida either. Really they haven't looked good at all. UT steps up for this game and sneaks out of the swamp with a win.

UGA, well they are a good FB team but they are also cursed. They will choke at some point every season. I have my UT VooDoo doll out and trying to conjure something up for Saturday against them.

Unlike our defense in the 4th quarter
