Bold Prediction for this weekend

Tennessee will create more turnovers (3-2)
Tennessee will out rush UF (179-124)
Tennessee will lose and Florida covers the spread.

Not bold prediction:
Trask finishes his first start with a higher QB rating than JG in the game.

I'm staying with my preseason prediction that UT finds a way to beat Florida, and I'll add that I think UGA flops against Notre Dame in front of all those recruits they are bringing to the game. Wishful thinking, yeah probably but it just seems too Tennessee not to beat them when we shouldn't and UGA is predestined to choke at some point and this weekend seems like a great time!
Prepare to be disappointed

Well, seeing as how Ga St ran the speed option all over us, and Trask can do that pretty well, doesn’t look good. But, who knows, funny game sometimes

Wow, We beat chattanooga after losing 2 games, and you all ready for SEC championship. Lets be realistic!

I see you're new here. Just so you know, we are never realistic on VN. Either the sky is falling or we are going to be National Champions, there's no in between on this site. You'll get used to it.

If Pruitt can get the "us against the world" thing going. and we see 60 minutes of battle down there, I will be good with it.

Well I never actually said anything about an SEC championship, but now that you mention it a UT win combined with UF & UGA losses would put us well on our way.....
Edit...I don't think we are a contender for SEC championship....

UF won't need to be but SO ready to beat this UT team. We've lost to MUCH worse UF teams than this one.
It would be wise to start warming up to the very high possibility of a 2-3 win season. There is not a team left on our schedule, including UAB, that cannot beat this team. And after 12 or so games, I've seen enough to know that our HC aint all that.
His recruiting will determine his fate, IMO.

After seeing the start to this season along with the history of our series with UF, this game doesn't concern me in the least. I was more concerned about UTC last week than UF this week. Absolutely nothing to lose Saturday.

Next Saturday JG gets dominated all game gets sacked quite a bit does check down throws and a lot of handoffs. TN won’t win I’m afraid. I’m predicting something like 38-14 Gators....

The game is pretty simple.
LOS
UTs OL is better than it has been. It gets a really good test Sat.
UTs DL has been decent on the edges and not good enough in the middle. They'll need to be able to take advantage of UFs OL.

QBs
Trask played well finishing up the UK game. UT will need to rattle him Saturday. If plays that well again for a game. UF wins.
JG hasn't played remotely close enough to beat a team like UF yet. He'll need to be a lot better.

Never sell ND short in big games. They are big, have some speed, and fairly good QB and other skill people. Word of caution for our southern neighbors, DON'T LET THE SCORE BE CLOSE LATE IN THE GAME. They always seem to come up with a way to have the ball in crunch time.
