There's just a difference in saying " I define a workforce as..." versus saying "a workforce is..." it's a big vague term, not easily defined. I've gathered from the back/forth that VolGee4 has personally defined workforce to mean someone making taxable income, that's fine he's welcome to do so.

I'm welcome to disagree and supply my reasoning, which is all I did/was doing.

CJP response was, well he hasn't practiced in 3 weeks and something something plan the university agrees with. But he didn't answer the question.

You missed something, I'm going off the numerous academic definitions of the term. He even quoted one himself in one of his replies.

It is vague and umbrella in nature, I'm sure @VolGee4 understands this better than most being in law.

No clue, I don't know if CJP is the type to play someone before legal proceedings have processed. I think putting BT back in with his support group (while also limiting his free time) is smart though, without anything major pointing to outright dismissal from the team. With behavior issues ya would want him close by as much as possible to keep an eye on 'em.

Honestly, and last I'll say on it. I don't know how you can truly "equalize" it. The top money making sports within universities are already getting far more than the other sports, and a truly "capitalist" approach would all but eliminate women's college sports except for a select few areas. I really dislike the idea of girls not growing up with sports and the ability to get an education from playing them at an exceptional level.

Someone will always break the rules but a cap system of some sorts. I'm not an expert but if they tried, I think the stipends could go way up with EA sports footing the bill. Etc., etc..

Stipends aren’t equal right now, are they? Vanderbilt pays out more in a “stipend” than UT if I remember correctly.

Could be wrong, thought they were determined by geography. So Nashville would pay higher than Knoxville...and LA would pay higher than Nashville etc.

Correct on not equal but they're isn't a huge gap anywhere.
But if the cap is moved to a really high amount, then making it equal would be easily doable. Between gaming companies and a few officially licensed apparel companies.

There, no more "unfair treatment" but keep parity. Well, as soon as the FBI busts the ones the NCAA happily turns a blind eye for.

Schools report all scholarship monies used for housing and meals to the IRS and students are issued a form yearly reporting such monies as income.
