Makes no sense at all. The booth stopped the game to check the spot. Then took 10 seconds from the Saints. As a Saints fan, I can say the refs hate us. Always find a way a screw us.

If the replay wasn’t initiated the clock would have still been running and it’s possible more than 10 seconds would’ve runoff before the next snap. So one could argue the 10 second runoff was actually beneficial to the Saints.

Our first step is to get to tier two where we pound the Vandy, USCE, and Missouri type teams. Do that then build to a Georgia or Bama level. That won’t happen overnight and don’t bring up Georgia cause Kirby walked into a very talented team that had won 10 under a very good coach. Got to move to the middle before you get to the top.

I think that’s right - but what we don’t know is if Pruitt is a good enough gameday/in-game coach to make up for a talent disadvantage. Some are, some aren’t. I think it’s still up in the air either way with him.

I just wish we were recruiting well enough to make it so that we didn’t have to worry about it.

Rewatching the play - the safety was split by both guys. Callaway may have been the better option though a longer throw, but if he throws it there, then you'd see what appears to be a wide open JJ right down the middle all the same. Given the late throw Callaway would have been guarded just the same.

That's why these screenshots are silly.

JJ was a fine decision but he either has to not hesitate OR throw it deeper (notice plenty of room ahead of JJ would have also worked). Ya just can't be late AND throw it right where the guy is. If he even leads JJ by 1 yard he catches it and the defender only brushes him smh

Speaking of this, I LOVE the Oklahoma -21.5 line right now. UCLA is awful. They just lost to San Diego State who, in week 1, beat Weber State 6-0. Chip Kelly is going to get embarrassed this weekend.

They actually ran a 4th down sneak, and the whistle blew at 26 upon Brees being tackled.
