From reports, at that time, we slow played him. Said no one was sure if Pruitt liked Martinez. That may be false but at the time that is what was said. Thanks.

I think since we were trailing against Bama, A and M and maybe Oklahoma we did not lose on the last play. We were tied or ahead in the other 5.

Our first step is to get to tier two where we pound the Vandy, USCE, and Missouri type teams. Do that then build to a Georgia or Bama level. That won’t happen overnight and don’t bring up Georgia cause Kirby walked into a very talented team that had won 10 under a very good coach. Got to move to the middle before you get to the top.

While I don't disagree, I think it's also easier to sit here at the bottom and say that. But just 2 years ago we were coming off b2b 9-4s and 3 straight bowl wins and we were ready to fire our coach as soon as we lost to Florida and Georgia. We may need the fortitude this time around to take a real down season if it means long term stability. Of course first we just need to reach 8-4, bowl games, etc
