No point to my post except to be clear. Not trying to speak for others, just where I'm at.

I'm not out on the coaches yet.
Down on the loss but up on the direction I saw. That's just where I'm at.
Anyone that disagrees, that's no problem. As long as folks understand that just repeated badgering won't make me think like you.
Nothing personal, some of you just seem determined and I don't think most Vol fans work that way. At least I know I don't.
Everyone has the right to view the situation as they see it. Not everyone is going to agree. I've lost about all my confidence in the staff, in particular coach Pruitt. I genuinely like the guy but I just don't think he'll get it done. After last week, I wouldn't give him a 1% chance. After this week I'll give him a solid 1%. I hope I'm wrong. It's going to get a lot worse before it's gets better. We're getting ready to pummeled like we've never wittnessed before. Not sure he or the team can withstand it.

I’ve never been about blaming a loss on one player and I’m not now, I don’t know enough about the x’s and o’s. It’s a team effort, when one part of the team isn’t working, the other position groups have to makeup for it. I was at the game, I watched JG for most of the game. He never looked comfortable, kinda like a robot. I hate it for the kid, he just looks like a fish out of water. They aren’t going to make a change for next game because of the opponent. Coaches will be watching to see what he does and go forward.
If you think theres a decent chance (and if they dont after last nite, I'm not sure what else they need to see) you re gonna give one or both back ups a shot you need to get them some reps Sat.

If you re going to struggle do it with a guy that's got more room to grow.

I still can't get over how many good throws he didn't have.
Is it just me or was BYU leaving the backside wide open on some of the running plays? You would think a highly rated dual threat QB would bootleg it and run for a big gain every once in a while. Oh wait.......

They may make a change during game, not before. I think they are thinking about depth at that position. I never thought I would be saying it, but if this is the best JG can do through the last two games, then we absolutely need a change.

It's not even been 24 hrs and in already anxious for next weeks game. For the sole reason of seeing what happens with the quarterbacks

It's not the O-line. It's not the receivers. It's not the RB's, although they could use the forgotten Banks for short yardage. It's not special teams or the kicker/punter.

It's everything else. It's primarily the QB because a good offense can overcome the deficiencies of a poor defense against lesser to equal opponents. You simply cannot have a good offense without a good QB, period. That's indicates that normally a 6-6, 7-5 type season would have been reasonable with decent QB play.

To get above that they need the D to get it together. They need Thompson and Bituli back. Ignont is bad. Burrell is young and being picked on. The safeties have been surprisingly bad. The D-line rotation needs to firm up.

Most of all Jeremy Pruitt needs to get his head out of his arse if they are ever going to amount to anything. He's failing in very dumb ways.
