Wrong. He is the flashpoint when it comes to the mental aspect of this team. I dont get how people cant see that by watching him play these last 3 years.

This. Watched the play by play this morning and everything was his fault. The sacks (all but one) were his inability to move in the pocket. He eliminated one side of the field completely and threw into coverage when there was someone wide open on the other side. There was Zero urgency from him at any point. It's time to cut bait and try one of the freshman

I don't hate Pruitt. I just think he's not ready for the job and isn't getting up to speed nearly as quickly as we need him to. And I've said that very thing about getting back on track next week. BYU is a must-win game. Win that and move forward.

He’s a one read Qb that isn’t changing until he has more than one year with an OC if ever.

He isn’t a qb that is going to win us any games where he has to get us into the 40s

Therefore we are in deep trouble with this defense if it doesn’t get better quick

You can talk about his physical traits and make excuses about OCs...it make little difference when there is NO FIRE IN HIS BELLY AT ALL.

One thing Butch got right with Dobbs was the CEO role of the QB setting the tone. He messed up just about everything else but this is very true.

The QB sets the on field tone for the team. What JG can’t help is the inexcusable offensive line mess we continue to have...could also be very frustrating for him to not have 5 guys named who he can build consistency with the two weeks leading into the game. He’s only 21 years old, needs leadership from the HC too.

Butch was pretty close to that. I get the Brian Kelly thing but he was actually building something good here without any previous help. Then he lost his mind after 2015.

I agree. I was hoping Fulmer would get Pruitt up to speed quicker than it would take naturally. Next week is big BYU is a must win if you do 6 is still on the table if not we will be lucky to win 3

I think he should have felt the CB blitz. The other 2 he had no chance on. Grey was destroyed on the one and the other came free untouched and JG tried to spin out of it and slipped
