Maybe he's telling the truth and knows he sucks as a head coach, is gonna get fired, and will have a nice landing spot as a DC somewhere coupled with a big buyout. And the fact that he's further destroying Tennessee is okay with him because he's a Bama loyalist.

That part is irrelevant. He is killing his reputation by the coaching job displayed yesterday. That does him no favors. He was just terrible because he was incredibly ill prepared.

I don't hate Pruitt. I just think he's not ready for the job and isn't getting up to speed nearly as quickly as we need him to. And I've said that very thing about getting back on track next week. BYU is a must-win game. Win that and move forward.

Agreed. He's not intentionally losing or sabotaging us. But he might already see the writing on the wall and knows he either isn't cut out to be a head coach or doesn't want to be one, especially at Tennessee. Which means a potential 5-7 season is turning into a 2-10 season, or worse.

He’s a one read Qb that isn’t changing until he has more than one year with an OC if ever.

He isn’t a qb that is going to win us any games where he has to get us into the 40s

Therefore we are in deep trouble with this defense if it doesn’t get better quick

How did it come to this? Just a total betrayal of a die hard fanbase by everyone involved.

They treated it like a scrimmage. Pruitt said they didn't know what they had going in and wanted to try everybody out and see where they fit. That was Rookie Mistake #1. Rookie Mistake #2 was not correcting it in the second half and getting serious about a team that was whipping you on both sides of the ball while your guys are trying to figure out where to line up in the simplest of packages.

Please don't confuse me with a couple of others, I'm not proud or happy about a previous concern.

But I attempted to discuss Friend saying Pruitt was big on the whole line rotating thing and that worried me. People here passed it off as just teaching them different positions "in case" but that's NOT what he said.
He said to "wear the other team down" and that thinking scares the heck out of me and worthy of discussion.
