Hard to think of a more comparable situation given the difference in schools and/or different circumstances (along with knowing very little about WKU). Although I would think many would agree that getting curb stomped by Vandy would rank up there as equally as embarrassing as WKU losing to Central Arkansas.

If Central Arkansas had taken both Notre Dame and Florida down to the wire? Maybe. This is you stretching the hell out of an agenda.

For pointing out that Helton is known as a Air Raid/ Spread OC forced to run a Pro Style offense without the personnel? Those are facts brother..... not motives. Huge difference

Your innate desire to be the smartest guy in the room, hence arguing incessantly over a perceived superiority of a true freshman compared to other QB based solely on your (and Little’s) interpretation of highlight clips. What you waded into with a contrarian, argumentative mindset is a discussion amongst VOL fans of the inauspicious debut of our former OC as HC. Giving you credit for at least half the intelligence level you so modestly credit yourself, you know where this was going. David Ubben’s “informative” Tweet of the beginning stats was a sneak preview of the A-HA story he was hoping to write. FCS team or no FCS team, a significant victory would have been written as Helton FREE without MICROMANAGING to run his vision of an offense! We skipped that gagging garbage and we’re venting. So we’re not interested in your faux objectivity that has you comparing a heavy ranked favorite with a Heisman candidate to a plucky lower level team who was scheduled as a tune up...but was a LOSS.

I despise some of the posters on VN .They think they live on some type of lofty perch or something. Helton didn't have jackshat to work with. not even a QB who could scramble and stretch out a play here and there. UT was fortunate to have the 5 wins they did get. I don't get the total letdown in the Mizzou and Vandy games at all. I hope CJP can fiqure that one out so it doesn't happen again.

. I said the same kind of thing and apparently it didn’t blow over well. You could be be accused of thinking you’re the smartest one on the board shortly.

In Helton’s defense, that L was due to a defensive collapse. Helton probably got conservative with the ball on O too which is a lesson many coaches never learn. You gotta be aggressive when you have ‘em against the ropes. All speculation though.
