I'm from Dickson and have talked to his teammates. I agree he wasn't big about playing for TN, but I don't believe the hot pursuit by the staff. I'm sure they wanted him for his potential though, bc his upside is hugeno, they wanted him. if you believe what he says, TN was recruiting him harder than KY. again...if you believe him.
personally, i think the staff wanted him. but i don't think they were ready to take a committment today. i also think Rybka just didn't want to play at TN. i think the hometown school stuff didn't set well with him, and he was more than happy to play "the contrarian".
I don't think that's been uncommon for some in state prospects the past few years for several in state prospects.

Let’s let coaches be coachesOL musings: why move a guy if he did great at where he played last year! Dang it, leave tre at RG and JJ at left guard! I don’t agree that the best OL should play LT. If he sucks at it (like Trey did last year), then DONT do it. In the case of Trey, we’re talking All-American at RG, maybe the best to ever play the position at UT. Would you want there best there is at one position or mediocrity at another?
In the case of JJ, he looked dang good at LG last year. LEAVE HIM THERE! This is what I don’t like about getting “the best 5” on the field. Why try to get the best 5 when two of them are the best at guard, but ain’t any better than then backup at tackle? In that case now you’re no better at the tackle position and weaker at the guard spot. Defies logic.
Friend and Pruitt have a chance to do what’s right. It doesn’t look like they will. I was hoping Chaney would step in and fix this, but he hasn’t.
Don’t bother pointing out what JJ’s body looks like. Look at his performance and not his body shape. He was good at LG last year and I would expect him to be better, and the best choice for the position.
How about it guys? Anyone feel me here? Can we let guards be guards and tackles be tackles?
sounds about right. i think it's obvious they liked the kid and his upside.I'm from Dickson and have talked to his teammates. I agree he wasn't big about playing for TN, but I don't believe the hot pursuit by the staff. I'm sure they wanted him for his potential though, bc his upside is huge
Sounds good. I second the motion.sounds about right. i think it's obvious they liked the kid and his upside.
i dont' think they were recruiting as hard as TR would like most to believe they were. the whole comment about how KY was just chill and TN was really coming hard.............don't buy it. lol. sounded to me more like a kid that wanted to drive the narrative so as to get a jab to the TN folks he was going to spurn..... not sure if that means he's just mean, lol, or just liked playing the game of recruiting.
either way, i don't think the TN staff was on him as hard as he said they were.

Prayers to you and your family.Hey guys,
My Mom passed this morning. It was very peaceful and calm after several days of rapid decline. We were able to be with her the whole time and are still up here in Cincinnati taking care of my Dad. Thanks for all your prayers.
*Sorry to drop this in here, but y’all are some prayer -sending folks and we could use em.
Ya know I was thinking how we play OU next year. Pruitt going to have some serious tools in the defensive backfield to defend against a pass happy offense. We get some good edge rushers to emerge and it could be a great game.
If this was Sab, he wouldn't be looking for a lady.An ad on Craigs List From the Midday 180 post: Must be from Ben Stancliff ( Sabanoccio). Im sure tons of women have responded. Creepy AF.

Unfortunately, I’ll believe it when I see it. Just not buying him playing again. He wants to play. If he remains healthy and clot-free, they should clear him for full contact and put him on the new protocol for the season. He's such a great kid, with a tremendously supportive family. I really hope it works out for him.
