I don’t really want to get into this again - we’ve all had arguments until we’re blue in the face - but my opinion is that Grant and Admiral were special and inflated Barnes’ ability. I don’t think he’ll be worth the money going forward, but he’ll still likely be better than anyone we would have hired to replace him.

Hard to say at this point how to weight the 2 sides ("special" vs developed), probably a bit of both TBH - but is it just a coincidence that all 3 NBA draftees were nobodies out of HS? That is simply amazing and more than just coincidence imo. I could agree if it was just 1, but not 3. Plus Bowden, plus 6th man of the year Turner, even Kyle made a good run at becoming an NBA prospect and was also a nobody. People can harp on his Texas days all day long, but it is at least possible his coaching has continued to improve. What he's done here the last 2 years is nothing short of mindblowing. 13th in the conference preseason to #1 for an entire month, 3 draftees, and National CoY has to tell us something. He's not the same coach as 15 years ago.

I do think that would be a solid 3-man lineup. I just cringe at the thought of the subs...

Ehhh I agree to a point, but I'm kind of optimistic on the young talent... they need experience, but I think this staff unlike the other will at least have them competing at their full potential and they will be in shape and strong. The rotations will be tricky...

Would love to hear him interviewed about that... whether he cared at all or not. Come to think of it... if he would have redshirted a year behind Peyton, he likely quarterbacks the NC team 🤯
Needed some plays from Tee that Branddon couldn’t provide. And the same thing that makes you a good QB doesn’t abide waiting.

Just got around to reading the updated transfer language,

"The updated version says waivers should be granted for documented cases where the athlete was a victim of “physical assault or abuse, sexually inappropriate behavior, racial abuse, religious discrimination, questioning of sexuality by a staff member or student at the previous institution".

"Yo, I heard Harbaugh called Solomon a B**** during practice" should qualify, right?!

I would appreciate the prayers of my VN folks. We found out yesterday that my mothers "non aggressive" cancer has spread, and is acting totally against the norm for the kind she has. She has to start Chemo monday, and her doctors are trying to get immunotherapy approved also. Prognosis is 3-4 months without, and 10-12 with treatment if the treatment doesn't work. I am in a stupor, this was a sucker punch we did not expect. The docs had been extremely optimistic, and this was not supposed to happen.

We’ll never know, because maybe some other plays made negate the need for the Tee plays.

All hypothetical. Just a guessing game.
Texas A&M had some hyped talent in his years there. Didn’t do much with it. Sure all hypothetical. My hypothesis swings he would have added to our championship drought.

What was Tate Martell a victim of?

There has always been a verbal agreement to not disclose anything that happens within the closed doors of the AD- that’s more or less why I stopped posting here and then just kinda forgot to start back. I heard from a former coworker that the agreement signed every year now had an explicit NDA.

Also, hey folks long time no see.
I was thinking about you the other day. Wondered where you ran off to.
