I would appreciate the prayers of my VN folks. We found out yesterday that my mothers "non aggressive" cancer has spread, and is acting totally against the norm for the kind she has. She has to start Chemo monday, and her doctors are trying to get immunotherapy approved also. Prognosis is 3-4 months without, and 10-12 with treatment if the treatment doesn't work. I am in a stupor, this was a sucker punch we did not expect. The docs had been extremely optimistic, and this was not supposed to happen.

Sorry to hear. They gave my mom two years and she lasted five...all but the last four months complication free. Hope their initial assessment rings truer with your mom and she totally aces this...prayers.

But why go home as a graduate transfer? If he wants to play in the league, he’s not going home. I just don’t think Mike White is the best coach to develop his skills. But that’s his decision.

Scheduled 3 months of chemo already, and hopefully the immunotherapy gets approved.

You know how this goes now, we will not know if it is working till they do the scans after the initial 3 months of treatment. I pray we get more time...I am a mommas boy, not ashamed to admit it, and I am having a lot of trouble imagining a world without my mom in it.

The fun part is. We’ve owned it for about 10 years and never built on it. Did have a well dug 2 years ago hoping to nudge along the process. Wife want one thing, I want another.

I'm not surprised by Blackshear at all. Florida returns a ton of talent, has a top 10 class incoming, is in his backyard so family can easily come watch him play, and Mike White's style of offense is similar to what he's played under Buzz for 4 seasons so less of a learning curve. I think us being full hurt as well, hard to tell a guy he's the "missing piece" when we have to git shirt someone to even get him on scholarship.


I actually think Barnes & Co. already knew he wasn't likely coming here and that's why Bailey was taken. The media fanned the flames that Florida was out of the mix, despite Florida media outlets as far back as April saying he would be a gator.
