Because he was never a get. Likewise I call bull that we offered him $4 mil per only to go cheap on assistant buyouts. We all loved the late great Mickey Ham, but he wasn’t a total boob. That’s built up “widely known” mythology by pseudo insiders.

Idk what else to tell you man. Do you only believe crimes were committed if there is visual proof?

He tried to do it with cutcliffe. KW isn’t going to turn down triple his salary and then constantly site loyalty as the reason if something wasn’t off about it.

You can choose to believe whatever you want. Like i said before you didn’t even know he was interviewed until 30 min ago.

Except that KW is still where he was so loyalty apparently was the reason. Unless you think we were his only offer since 2010. He had already been coaching there since 1994. It seems more likely that he was never and will never leave there than he turned us down because of assistants. We may have gone there to try, but he was never leaving regardless of the money or assistants.

How was even top-25? How was he on ANYONE'S list?? 4-8 at La Tech. Mindboggling. Whatever f*ckcake brought his name up in a meeting should have to live out their remaining days in Dyersburg, TN trying to fix their sewer system. I don't care if it's been almost a decade. Shiz still pisses me off. How dumb can an organization be?

Widely known translates to more than one poster on a message board...just sayin. Your point about Whittingham is even more muddled. He’s not going to cite LOYALTY as a motivation for staying...and he’s STILL THERE. Crazy enough to be true! 😂

Hank take = theoretical assumption unsupported by evidence in any way shape or form.

Well dangit...Sumlin could at least develop players and left A&M in decent shape. In the East, his A&M teams probably could have won 8-10 a season ongoing, he could recruit pretty well, and develop QBs. Miles ahead of that Dooley disaster.
