Not at all, was simply mentioning Springer and your post about him...do I think they turn away 1 of Love, Springer or Johnson? No I don’t, apparently you do.
Lmao...that’s not what I said at all, do I think they are willing to if it’s the right 4? Absolutely. Do I think they’re going to take 4 just to take 4? No.I think they absolutely can’t take those 3 with walker if we take a transfer
Appears to me you are on the record saying we are taking 4 in November and a transfer

Ok so taking a transfer is hedging our bets on missing on guys like you said yesterday. Not a bad idea imo. I support it especially considering the kid will get a year to practice with the team which is a huge bonus
Might as well punt on 3rd down, #amirite? So we are going to use the 13th scholarship on a transfer that can’t play? Another one? So we are going to have two transfers that can’t play, a guy that needs a RS year (Pember) And two freshman in Gaines/ORN that most people think need a year before becoming every game rotations players.
2019-2020 gonna be a lonnnnngggg year. If anyone gets injured UT gonna be screwed
Not ignoring.
Hell two weeks ago the numbers talk for 2020 was very hard to understand. Still is. Williams, Bone, before the 2 newest guys came aboard it’s very hard to follow and discuss with any kind of certainty
I mean, it could work out if Plavsic and transfer are good players. But unless Burns, Fulkerson and Pons all develop quickly or Josiah James is a super duper star I don’t see a tournament team right now for 2020. And we are assuming no injury problems.
The staff thinks Plavsic gets eligible, that’s a game changer...look back at Barnes’ teams here and he’s never playing 11/12 guys, it just doesn’t happen, so you gotta fine a strong 8-10 at most...that is still more than possible while redshirting 1 and another sitting a year as a transfer.
James
Turner/Johnson
Bowden/Pons/Gaines
Fulky/Kent/ORN
Plavsic/Burns
Transfer sitting out
Pember redshirting
No I don’t think that’s a 30 win roster but I do think they can make the dance
Maybe Plavsic gets immediate eligibility but right now he’s not. So we can’t count that yet.
And you’re right you need 8-9 guys but we are gonna rely a lot on never proven guys. Fulkerson has never been more than a 15 mpg guy. Barnes basically went to a seven man rotation last year because he didn’t trust Pons or Johnson. James should be good but he’s a freshman. Still an unknown. Burns and Kent have never played. ORN hasn’t played a lot of Basketball. Gaines probably needs a RS but we can’t afford to redshirt because of numbers.
All I see is a **** ton of questions. And again, health. There’s way too many questions for a year 5 team IMO.
I’m also curious what team in the country loses 4/5 of their starting 5 and doesn’t have questions surrounding their roster.
Sure but some teams have multiple big time recruits coming in. Or a grad transfer that’s logged major minutes at a mid major. Or bench pieces that have played over 10 mpg. We just have one freshman big time freshman. We have one proven bench piece. We have no proven grad transfers coming.
Uh oh, here come the thought police. So we are going to use the 13th scholarship on a transfer that can’t play? Another one?
