I skipped most of that too. I just scroll thru pages on VN most of the time. Don't read the drama and nonsense most of the time.
Oh well here’s a brief recap:
Jarrett committed to LSU
@BassmasterVol blamed GeauxVols and sent the LSU recruiting office screenshots of GVs posts here.
GV got fired.
I’m almost positive it went down exactly like that.

It appeared you came in on the middle of the conversation and were piling on the "let's talk about how awful our school is so we appear to be great sports fans" team. Bass seemed to take umbrage with your posts more for some reason. If your post were taken out of the conversation, they would not have seemed as bad. We all need 1 good recruit soon. That was apparently my crime. I skim and post while waiting for various code compilations to complete, and got drawn into a discussion where apparently I didn't fully comprehend the central tenet of Bass's comments. That got me branded as not-too-bright and negative. In this particular case I was doing IC design, and yeah, I was probably dedicating more of my (apparently limited) brain capacity to my work than the discussion.

Caleb.Who is Calhoun?
Caleb.
Open at your own discretion.
Tennessee Vols cowardly dropping Big Orange Caravan is absurdly transparent
Wow!!! What a terrible take on his part. I could care less about The Big Orange Caravan or Orange Carpet Day. I’m like Al Davis I just wanna win baby win. I will admit I hated seeing the Smokey Gray uniforms going but the rest of the Butch “Filler” like garbage cans and a DJ good riddance.
Pruitt is about substance and not filler. I would rather have him spending that time reviewing players/recruits films than media engagements. By all accounts he is a tireless worker.
Between Barnes, Pruitt, and Vitello I feel better about the future of UT sports than I have in a long time. At least since the Dickey era.
