For anyone lost, Calhoun wrote a hit piece on UT cancelling the big orange caravan. Called Phil and the coaches cowards and entitled.

Honestly came off as a scorned Warlick fan, mad he didn't get to stick it to the establishment for the 'unfair treatment of a legend'.

That's cool, we all have our own takes. To me, his rant went on way too long and included way too much speculation and insults to be taken seriously.

And like I said, we already know their answers, they weren't going to give different ones. So the claim answers is what he was looking forward to, seems contrived. Getting to ask accusing questions repeatedly, seems much more likely in my honest opinion.

I watch all the media sessions and usually post them here. I think we're pretty well informed so I agree probably many of the questions have already been answered or are unanswerable at this point. I started making a list of the type of questions we might see and every now and then someone sneaks in a really good question.

  • Do you expect Trey Smith to be cleared to play this fall? (Already answered)
  • When will you know about the waivers for Solomon and Gibbs? (Already answered)
  • What is your favorite food? (Already answered)
  • Do you hate having to talk with Bob Kesling? (No comment)
  • When do we get our next Recruit? (The NCAA rules limit what I can say publicly on recruiting)
  • Will you guys beat Florida this year? (You’re damn right we will! Aight?)
  • Will we have an improved offensive line this year? (Ask me again at the end of September)
  • Do you think the guys on the defensive line will be ready before the season starts? (Again, ask me again at the end of September)
  • Do you expect Anthony Harris to enroll this year? (see NCAA rules)
  • How many regular season games will we win this year? (Ask me again at the end of November)
  • Do you think we should move Jarrett Guarantano to tight end? (No Hank, I don’t)

Basketball transfer nugget...someone posted a thread about this kid, redshirted as a freshman this year, played HS in Cleveland, TN. The coach that recruited him to ASU is apparently Serbian as well and no longer at ASU. And that coach was on Barnes staff as a grad assistant for 2 years. Rob Lewis replied to keep an eye on this one...

Calhoun is a joke anyway. I refuse to read his stuff. He's not media. He's a fan and writes as such. His stuff usually sucks.

It’s not just that one comment...it’s pretty much every single comment in every thread, unless it’s off topic talking about GoT, favorite movies, BBQ, dog farts, or whatever else.
