Started football at 6 years old. Played through HS. Some small school offers. Decided that I’d rather just be a student at UT. Sarted playing rugby there. Played college and men’s club rugby. Have stayed in that game for almost 30 years now.

I once caught 5 TD passes in gym class... it was my best day. It wasn't easy when we had to go 20 vs. 20, and running my route (deep pass to the oak tree, next to the mud hole by the chain link fence) I had 9 guys hanging on my back. So, yeah I know football.

I had a similar claim. The highlight of my "career" was the game against Kenwood High (Clarksville) my senior year. Blocked a punt that resulted in a safety and had a garbage time pick six. I had a handful of interceptions playing safety, but that was the only touchdown I ever scored for the varsity. We won something ridiculous like 50-12, but I still have the newspaper clippings around somewhere lol
