Can he handle all the hype??????Will never last - @SpringBokVol
Poison, Motley, & Skid Row have no business being mentioned in the same sentence with Guns N‘ Roses.Hard rock wise, GNR, Poison, Motley Crue and Skid Row - maybe Tesla were awesome. Much better than Metal.
Wholistically, i've enjoyed the Dead and Jimi Hendrix as go to's for years.
As far as top to bottom - when i think of Rock and Roll bands, i mean kick ass Rock and Roll bands - my first thought are the's.

You are right, love Pearl Jam, Hootie and some, but absolutely hate sound garden (refuse to capitalize the first initial), just my personal choice. Nickleback and Three Day’s Grace started my turn in early 2007, (Don’t judge me, lol), now put on some Dustrubed and I’m going on it.
Death metal - never heard an album I would buy.
Metal - Zombie, Megadeth, Metallica
Hard rock - Ozzy, G-n-R, original ACDC
Hair band- Crue was only album I ever purchased.
70's - Sabbath
Pop/rock - Billy Joel, INXS
Country - JohnnCash, Eric Church
RAP - NWA and Murphy Lee only albums I ever owned because I'm old AF
