To Protect and to Serve II

Why should that matter to policy-makers? If somebody slowly poisoned you, it would still be murder. Obesity takes longer to kill you and lowers your quality of life while you become a larger burden to your employer's insurance/Medicare/Medicaid. There is no way that legal drugs would be more costly to society than obesity is.

If immediacy is all that matters to you, one night of drinking can kill you (Mercy beat me to it). Alcohol has ruined far more lives than heroin. Nice av.
Alcohol poisoning is rare. They are actually allergic because they don't have the enzymes to break it down. Alcohol is pretty insidious, so is diabetes type 2, hyperlipidemia from eating fat ladened food is also insidious. But a dose of heroine if not stepped on enough will kill you or anyone within minutes. It doesn't take 25 years it takes minutes to the outset, an hour to die.

Indictment: 7 Illegal Aliens Accused of Helping Alleged Cop Killer Used Fake IDs

Seven illegal aliens — who allegedly helped the illegal alien accused of murdering Newman, California, police officer Ronil Singh the day after Christmas — used fake IDs to work and stay in the United States, an indictment claims.

The day after Christmas, Singh pulled Perez Arriaga over on suspicion of drunk driving. That is when police say the illegal alien shot Singh. Over his police radio, Singh called out, “shots fired,” and as police arrived at the scene of the traffic stop, they found the officer with a gunshot wound.

Singh was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died, leaving behind his wife Anamika, their newborn five-month-old son, and the mourning Newman, California, community.

If you look close, he appears to be reaching under his seat. I'm surprised she didn t draw on him right there and demand he put his hand on the wheel.

Reprimanded with a slap on wrist and allowed to return to the job... Where have I seen that nonsense before?

Are you implying with this in reference to LEO? Last time I checked, officers are not actively calling for citizens to be killed, in particular ultra liberal college professors that have ZERO comprehension of what the real world is like outside their classroom.

LOL... You probably need to improve your checking skills cause they suck. Scroll to the top of this page. Ras posted a video of the Houston Police Union joker essentially threatening the public with harassment and persecution if they're critical of the police. My guess is that guy didn't even get the slap on the wrist.

And the above threat to the people he took an oath to protect was made in regards to criticism of officers kicking down a door in street clothes and murdering an innocent couple based off what was at best bad info and at worst a flat out lie (I'm betting on the latter). Those officers not only didn't get a slap on the wrist but were, for the most part, universally praised nationally as heroes.

Gamaldi made his comments within hours after the incident involving those officers, so it's probably a good guess that statement was emotionally driven. IMO, his comments are directed at the criminals, aka "dirtbags". I usually don't hear officers responding to the average joe citizen using that term.

There's a difference between Gamaldi's comments and the liberal professor. If you're unable to differentiate between the two, there's nothing else I can say or do.

You - Cops aren't saying things like that.

Me - presents evidence that they are saying things like that and doing much, much worse

You - Makes excuses and runs away

Well cool... See ya...

Where did i say Gamaldi was some poster child for HPD as you're implying i am. I stated his comments were made within hours after his fellow officers were wounded and I'm guessing he knew one or more of them personally....so maybe you can cut him some slack for saying something under duress.

The facts of the case weren't completely clear at that moment either.

Besides, you still haven't said anything in regards to the liberal profs comments. Do you agree with that statement since you haven't addressed it?
