I agree with this 100%, Luth. It’s actually just lazy rationale and is fairly common here. A few posters have built a doctrine - maybe better described as a schtick for a message board - around this thought process.

It’s a fascinating subject to me.

Yea. Kind of like that. I have no idea which ones came running to his aide and which ones will speak forcibly against his false claims. I would hope all of them.
If his claims are false, which they appear to be; he is scum, should be charged with as severe a crime as possible, prosecuted, and locked away.
Very few things are worse than knowingly making false accusations.

I'm talking about things like the birther accusation Trump so vehemently leveled against Obama.
Accusing Cohen of paying off his side pieces without his knowledge or consent.
Accusing Little Donnie of fabricating the lying cover explanation for the hotel meeting on his own.
Accusing Ted Cruz's father of being part of the JFK assassination.
Taking out full page ads calling for the death penalty for the five innocent boys charged in the Central Park Jogger case.
Fabricated embellishments on Uranium One, Clinton e-mails, Benghazi, Fast and Furious

Those types of things.
