Butch, that you?
Not uncommon for TEs to grow into OTs. Also not uncommon for TEs to play DE in HS. FTR, JJ Watt started as a college TE. And I didn't suggest UT pick him up, I only commented that wherever he may end up, a position switch might not be a bad idea. You have too much Butch on your brain.

Analyst. Worked with Pruitt at FSU. Came to us from UTC, DB coach.
So we got Pruitt-known for developing talent on the backend, Ansley- DB coach experience (dont really know the extent of his expertise), and now Wilson-DB coach (same ). But it got me feeling like having a

Yes. And if a fellow student athlete is going to feel comfortable enough to call you a n*gger in your own stadium, its probably symptomatic of a ****** situation we're not privy to. I hate when know-nothings reduce **** like this to "the race card". Its ********.
Come on man...the atmosphere at UGA is so horrifically racist that his sister decided to go there...

I hate when people are blind to obvious ********..

When I hear TE to OL. Butch plan. Is that not evident to you.

Ansley getting almost 1 mil says to me that Sherrer is gone.
You may be right, but I don't think we can assume anything just based on $. I think a new day has dawned within BOT & UTAD. They may have finally figured out you reap what you sow - with this fanbase they will reap back whatever they spend ten-fold.

I take exception to the use of "the race card". i don't care one way or another about whether he plays or not, but reducing how the kid may or may not feel about being called that by a uga athlete to "the race card" is just supremely disrespectful, and totally unneeded.
So I take it that you have no problem with people playing "the race card"...because it definitely happens a lot.

All I'm saying is CJP is an ACE DB Coach/Recruiter...you would think that 5* DBs would be lining up to play for him, well at least 1-2 of them....he put a lot in the NFL

Maybe his evaluation of recruits was different from the "experts". Maybe he got the guys he wanted. Maybe he doesn't give hoot about stars.

Not really a Butch plan. As I said, it's not uncommon for HS TEs to grow into OTs. Aaron Douglas (RIP) played TE in HS if IRCC. Butch simply failed at player development of any kind.

And they kicked him off campus pretty immediately. He continued to play football and his sister signed on TO THE SAME SCHOOL to play softball. Where’s the oppressive environment? Guess if she has a slump her brother blazed a path. This is a Pandora’s Box, dude. If he had beaten out Fromm would he still be at this “racist cesspool”. Bet your outraged, civil rights championing azz he would be! The sitting out one season requirement is a safeguard against the “remote” possibility of young athletes getting miffed and leaving. When you recruit and build a roster around certain numbers that’ll devastate some programs. I was all for the obliteration of coaches being able to restrict destinations of transfers but this is different. But hey! When Tulane gets out of the football biz because of this bs, then you’ll be big pimpin with the edits of those “taking their talents to ....”. Congrats.
We really don't know the whole story. But, your point is well taken regarding his PT status.
