No on the mail in ballots, I think a person should have a real and verifiable reason (job related or such) before they are allowed to vote absentee. Just have the 3 day voting period.

Linked is the process to vote absentee in FL (they are always screwed up so I picked them) look at it and tell me how anyone's identity is verified.

Most of the time and when it comes to elections I plan. I have been deployed for a few elections and have never missed a chance to vote. Takes a little effort but important things usually do.
