Amateur Hour Continues

Here’s a look at the Affordable Care Act enrollees:

  • 8,019,763: People who have signed up for the Affordable Care Act
  • 4,301,656: Female enrollees
  • 3,633,920*: Male enrollees
  • 2.2 million: Enrollees ages 18-34
  • 1.37 million: Enrollees ages 35-44
  • 1.81 million: Enrollees ages 45-54
  • 2 million: Enrollees ages 55-64
  • 85 percent: Individuals who qualify for an advance premium tax credit with or without a cost-sharing reduction
  • 8 of 10: Number of people who are eligible for federal financial assistance in paying their premiums. (Family income must be between 100 and 400 percent of the Federal Poverty Level to receive tax credits for premium assistance.)
* 84,187 did not specify a gender.

Among those who chose a health plan via the federally facilitated marketplace and indicated their ethnicity, 62 percent (2,360,672 enrollees) identified as white, 16.7 percent (625,934) are African-Americans, 10.7 percent (403,632) are Latino and 7.9 percent (298,515) identify as Asian. Approximately 31 percent of those who enrolled via the FFM did not report race or ethnicity.

What else you got, because that one is a fallacy? I'll give you that these numbers are from 2013-2014 but there isn't a huge change in demographics in later years.
He will have to go search CNN twitter history and get back with you on that answer

Correct. We should just mail in our ballots.

There’s no good reason to have election day on a work day.

No on the mail in ballots, I think a person should have a real and verifiable reason (job related or such) before they are allowed to vote absentee. Just have the 3 day voting period.

I wish someone would invent something where a person wouldn't have to leave the house to vote.

I’m not sure why you think this proved me wrong. Obamacare helped close the gap between uninsured black and white Americans. Repealing it without a true replacement would definitely cause a trend in the wrong direction.

You said Disproportionately. You're wrong and still haven't made any points toward Trump being racist with policy. The score is 2-0 right now.

More security and verification tools available than a piece of paper that comes in the mail.

I’m all for eliminating no-excuse absentee ballots. I’m not 100% against sometime in the future having a way to vote on-line but again there would need to be a valid and verifiable reason, not because you just want to.

I’m not sure you understand proportions. Also, if we are talking about the black community, his department of education has undone Obama policies to protect student loan borrowers, and he proposed significant cuts to the department altogether. Cutting public funding would definitely hurt the black community.

And if we are talking racist in general, his Muslim ban and child separation were definitely racist.

33 or 34 states offer early voting, how much more convenient do we need to make it?
That's helpful, but there's still lines and fuss.

Really, why should expressing your candidate preference be so much more inconvenient than ordering a pizza or filling a car with gas?

Because buy a pizza or filling you car with gas doesn't determine the future of our country.

So wait, you said Obamacare was to narrow the gap between whites and blacks. Race driven or nah?

All that other crap you're spouting off is just more left wing talking points. Be original and stand on your own 2 legs because I cant take you seriously when you sound like everyone else that cries about Trump.

Why shouldn't it take a modicum of effort to have a say in the direction of our country? I personaly do not want more uniformed and uninterested people voting which is what on-line voting would bring.

We’re not going to their house and asking them to pick random names. They would still have to go through a process to verify their identity and vote. People aren’t going to do that if they don’t care.

Your first paragraph doesn’t make sense and your last paragraph isn’t a defense. I think we’re good here.

I'm all for making it harder for law abiding American Citizens to vote and I'm all for making it easier for anyone to own a gun.

Who's with me?
