Memphis got beat last night, 12-7 now.

Hoping the AAC powerhouse schedule they play continues to humble them.

Also I don't think Bone leaves unless we reach a final four. Unlike Grant he can still improve his draft stock as a senior, Grant is pretty much who he is at this point. Not likely to gain anything from staying as a senior except a chance to win more games/awards/championships.
The only thing Grant could do was be like Peyton and do it because he loves the school/fans/coach, etc.. He risks being hurt if he stays, and he's getting a lot of attention now. I can't blame him leaving. I will always think kindly of him--similar to Dobbs and Manning.

They play UCF next who beat Bama and almost beat Missouri. They're 17-3 right now and look like they may be a pretty good team. Hopefully UCF can put a beatdown on memphis Sunday.

Basically have to hope his team this yr gets smoked and that all his guys always are one and dones because he will easily pull all the elite Memphis guys. So they will be really good eventually regardless of his crap coaching unless he can never get a stable roster

Doesn't matter how good they are if he can't coach them. Look at Holly with 6 AA's and Butch. If he can't coach he will be out in 3 years.

Yeah he has given his all for TN. I think he is ready for next level based on this years development into the outside shot. Amazing the development year to year for guys like GW, Alexander and Scho

Love Grant Williams, but he’s not going to be in the NBA too long, IMO. I may be surprised, but his game at the next level just won’t be what it needs to be

Maybe but I think today's game is more open to guys like him than in past. He does so much that can help and now has more range. I wouldn't count him out. If it doesn't work he can always have long career overseas

I think Grant is one of those guys that lasts for 7-8 years in the league and is just a hustle bench guy that can help to spell guys. I feel Admiral is the same way. Both are going to be really good role players that are great teammates and classy professionals.

I can see Admiral having a nice career in NBA. In that league he can put up

I mean, it depends on what you think he is. He’s not going to be a 15 year NBA starter, sure. But he’s very likely to be on a roster for a long time.

I'll be surprised if he's not in the NBA a long time as a role player. Not likely a star but he'll have a job as a long term role player.

Guys. Serious inquiry. I have a coworker whose son has been looked at by Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Arkansas as a TE/Slot Receiver. He is an under the radar prospect because he plays lacrosse during the summer and doesn’t have time to camp.

His name is Mario Kirby, 6’2, 228lbs and runs a 4.5 40.

Goes to Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma. Just wanting to know which camps to tell his dad to send him to this year. The kid is good.

His hudl is attached. Mario Kirby on Hudl

1. Get him OUT of Oklahoma.

2. See #1

Grant Williams has said in the past that he wants to graduate in 3 years and then get his Masters. I know that might change, but he would be wise to stay next year. Unfortunately he is very much like Jarnell Stokes and far as height is concerned. A tweener

Grants game is way more developed than Jarnells game ever was. I do however agree with the tweener comment. I think he can have a long career in the pros. He will not be a star, but if he gets with the right team he can be a great role player. He is just a lil shorter than Juan Howard , but similar game. Juan played 18 years. I think Grant could be better than him.

With all the chaos at USC, even if we aren't an option for Bru.... I wonder if we may see some other guys look to transfer out whether it be newcomer or grad transfer type.
