Agreed. He should sack up. He has a lot to learn. Coach Barnes is one of the best I've ever seen post-game.Bryce Drew coached a really good game, and has done a good job with that team...BUT..he just lost every bit of respect I could ever have for him...He will always be a little whiny bitch to me now forever.
The game has changed too much. Those numbers over three years are unbelievable.King's career averages (only 3 years) for reference...I am also too young to have seen him live.
25.8 PPG
13.2 TRB
I wish Grant was getting that kind of production. He's currently at 14.9 PPG, and just 6.3 TRB for his career (not including tonight) this year though he's stepped up his game, but I don't know if we'll ever have another Bernard King...cause if we get a guy putting up his numbers he'll likely be a 1 and done.
Ellis.....spinning 8 footer......BOTTOM!!!!!Ellis was remarkable. There was no 3 point line when he was at UT so no need for him to shoot long range. When the NBA added the 3 point line, he took full advantage. He could do it all.
Sadly his UT teams matched up with #1 Virginia and Ralph Sampson 2 years in a row in the NCAA tourney. Although it was fun to watch Ellis vs Sampson in both of the games.
Did you all hear Dykes on the broadcast last night? The announcer asked him what kind of NBA team Grant would play on. Dykes said, "a team that wins" or something similar. I think that sums up Grant perfectly.
Sounds like Williams is a winner in a number of ways
Excited about this kid
Big Bernard King fan. I understand he was great and it will be a close discussion. My opinion is that team success + an extra year on his resumé might be the tiebreaker. He’s also on his way to national player of the year this year.Did you ever see BK play? You realize he averaged 25.3 points and 13.2 rebounds for his career and was 3 time SEC POY. This was without the 3 pt line and no shot clock . Grant is GREAT but not quite at BK's level yet (imo)
Admiral settles way too often for long range 3's. When he finally made a shot late.....where was it......in the paint. He needs to quit settling so much for 3's and use that strength and frame of his to post up more and create a good look and maybe even draw more fouls himself. That's the only way to get out of a slump.
That's probably true but you still can't be afraid to take open shots or you'll never break the slump.Admiral settles way too often for long range 3's. What a douche?
Man you must have really long arms. Had to reach way back to pat yourself on the back. Finding a post you made 3 years ago is pretty impressive.
Someone's disappointed we won
