Swain calls out Vol Twitter

I say it's time for Vols fans to celebrate, and re-live great times in TN history. Tee has good reasons for not coming back before now. If it doesn't work out, in one year we could move on, but we can say we tried. If it works out, then we will likely be hoisting trophies again. Like with basketball now, let's sit back and enjoy the ride.

Understood. However, the anti-Tee-ism began long before his declining to return. Some never forgave him for winning the NC that "should have been Peyton's." This goes way back.

Lol, wut? This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read here. Goodness gracious.

If that is true, it is complete ********. Peyton had 4 shots at it. Now, many of the players that won it that year came to Tennessee to play with Peyton but I know no one who resented Tee winning it.

Tee struggled early in 1998 but from Ga game on, he was an outstanding QB the remainder of his career and a great leader.

Hiring Tee is obviously for his recruiting. There’s no denying his ability to sign great players. I hope he has tremendous success with whatever group he coaches. Hopefully he’s learned not to say certain things and always be professional. In fact I’m sure he’s grown and matured in the last few seasons and getting let go at USC must be a humbling experience. I personally am glad he’s here.

T responsible for 11 5 stars and twenty some odd 4 stars. He is there to recruit and learn from Chaney, so if any of you got some bad things to say about Tee, shut it and support Pruitt, Fulmer, and company on thier decisions. They are running the ship, you aren't even working on it, you are just watching it from shore.

Tell you like I told Wood head. Put up a poll to get the numbers. People have reservations due to his behavior post 2012.
People are not always aware of the reason that they do something that is illogical, so a poll would not be very instructive.

Well if this is wisdom, maybe you don't understand what the word means. I have known Vol fans from almost every age and all walks of life and not one of them was mad about Tee winning a National Championship instead of Peyton. Surely you can find something more intellectually responsible than that statement.

Surely you didn’t either read my post or didn’t mean to respond to mine. Just read it again I guess. Maybe not...I’m confused ...but it’s ok...

Ergo, no white person ever may criticize in any way, whether deserved or not, a black person. i.e. all of the deserved criticism that Travis Henry has gotten is because he is black and not because he is......well, I don't know how to describe him.

Pepe, you sir are a skunk. Your opinion stinks. If you do and say things and don't know why you do, you need help and a lot of it.

You and I don't share the same experiences nor encounters with the same people. Thus your presuming to speak on my behalf (as that's what it amounts to) is forfeit. Your experiences speak to you for themselves, mine likewise, whether you like it or not. And probably not given the mindset evident in your post. No reason I should care, though. Wisdom enough for you? Probably not as you don't want to see beyond the parameters of your arrogance.

A poll on VN is worthless, tbh. You won't achieve real numbers and even if you do. It doesn't matter one damn bit.

There's a lot of Tee haters among Vols Fandom. Which is why I wish he'd never return to the UT. Hope he shuts them up with lights out job performances.
Tee followed up the great Peyton Manning so he will never measure up in some Vols eyes. Welcome Back Tee. Now, get on the road and reel some big ones in.

You obviously do not have the Affliction of introspection.

Was just listening to the show, and he mentioned how much of a force Vol Twitter has been in the past. He challenged Vol tweeters everywhere to get #WelcomeHomeTee trending. I believe it can be done. All you tweeters and twits, get to work.

Addendum: This is my 10,000 post, so there’s that. #lifegoals

No, he only sucked when he turned us down all those times, and we were better off without him. now that he has accepted a position on the staff, " we back Baby, going all the way, best coach ever." That's how we roll.

I can't say you're wrong, but there's a plan in place and I'm sure Fulmer has promised Tee something to keep him from meddling. I'm thinking he'll get either a OC in waiting, Associate Head Coach, or Recruiting Coord.....or a combo of some of these.

Which is potentially part of the problem. I think "any" coach in waiting title tends to be a disaster i.e. Joker Phillip's.
