Except the vast majority of people in generations end up sharing a lot of qualities. I'm guessing almost everyone in your generation would also agree that "conformity sucks," which is ironic haha.
Except that generational gaps of 25 years or even 15 years aren’t really sufficient anymore. As Jordan said above, I was born in 1980 at the edge of the millenials. As I have said before, I had never heard that term until the last 8-10 years, maybe. But I don’t have much in common with people born in 1995. The improvements in technology have made generations smaller. People born in 1995 might have had desktops and laptops in the home when they were 5 years old. Not really the case for people born in 1980.
Generations are just a de facto way for people to be grouped by those who study civilization.
