Kind of like the old days. I don't think Pruitt texts or twits or posts or social medias much. I think it's kinda refreshing. Any more, when someone farts, everyone knows what they had for breakfast within 10 minutes.I really like Coach Pruitt, but honestly he and his staff have taken a lot if enjoymeant out UT football for me. This total media blackout and basic not knowing anything about the team I have loved for 45 years is really bothering me. I guess he learned this from Saban, and I kind of knew it going into this with his coaching background, but it bothers me a lot more than I thought it would to be honest. Its like I've been doing my part going to these games over the years to be cast out of the circle of any information. But the constant not knowing anything is making me not even want to care who we recruit and who the next OC is going to be. I know they don't owe me anything, but its like Pruitt shimmied in my window at night, kicked me teeth in, and stole my team from me. Maybe I'm just mad over watching Bama take most of the recruit I wanted. I know it happens every year, but I thought Pruitt would win as many as he lost. And he still might, but right now I think I picked a bad day to quit drinking.

They aren’t coming here. Briles and Yurcich didn’t coach in the SEC. PPG doesn’t tell the full story either. Also, not saying there aren’t arguably better OCs out there, but how many are available and how many would even consider UT?Briles, Yurcich, many others have better averages.
What is Chaney's career average ppg?
Titles? Chaney, in about 20 years, has won 1 conference title. That's a long time to win so little.
He apparently doesn't recruit much.
How much of his mediocre success is Pittman?
Crompton was awful before Chaney got a hold of him. Peterman was terrible before Chaney got a hold of him, and he turned both pro.Crompton? You mean our highest rated QB recruit since Manning? What an achievement to get him to a 136(!) qbr as a SENIOR. 13 picks. For comparison, JG had a 141 qbr as a sophomore this year. Sorry if I'm not impressed.
What DID he do with Peterman? Maybe you're misremembering, but he was there in 2015, when Peterman has a 136 qbr. It was 2016 when he hit a whopping 163 qbr.
The year before Chaney came to Pitt - over 6.15 ypp and 31 ppg. The year after he left - over 6.7 ypp and 40 ppg. Chaney's year? Less than 5.8 ypp and 28 ppg. Man, what a wizard!
Dude just treads water any time he doesn't have a ton of talent to work with. Once he does have a crazy amount of talent, he does what would be expected, nothing more. No Oklahoma, Clemson, Bama, OSU, Ok St, etc offensive numbers, yet he has the talent to match or exceed right now, so why can't he?
