For the buyout? If his contract is ended...there’s not one. FSU paid Houston and Helton took a promotion so no buyout there either.

What DID he do with Peterman? Maybe you're misremembering, but he was there in 2015, when Peterman has a 136 qbr. It was 2016 when he hit a whopping 163 qbr.

The year before Chaney came to Pitt - over 6.15 ypp and 31 ppg. The year after he left - over 6.7 ypp and 40 ppg. Chaney's year? Less than 5.8 ypp and 28 ppg. Man, what a wizard!

Dude just treads water any time he doesn't have a ton of talent to work with. Once he does have a crazy amount of talent, he does what would be expected, nothing more. No Oklahoma, Clemson, Bama, OSU, Ok St, etc offensive numbers, yet he has the talent to match or exceed right now, so why can't he?

I’d prefer him over Sark but I doubt either will be the guy. I think we are to the point of going for small school OC no one else knows of and will take the job knowing it’ll be their Only shot to get a P5 job without taking a demotion

So Chaney is to blame for UGA not beating Bama ? It's the only hurdle they haven't overcome and they have scored enough points to get it done, he gotta take the DCs share of the blame too ? Absurd !

I might also blame Smart's idea to fake punt on 4th and 11 at midfield giving the TidePods an easy chance to score.

Initially I heard that Smart sent the signal to Fields not to run the play because of Bama’s defense look. Apparently Fields misunderstood or ignored the signal and ran it anyway.

Then there was fallout in the locker room post game about Fields running the play. Fields shouts he’s transferring and it actually happened. Either way it was bad.

The UGA 247 forum has a thread where they are complaining that the other UGA site (Rivals I guess) is melting down over Chaney possibly leaving. 247 isn’t concerned but who knows these days.

That’s bc the guy who runs Ga Rivals site is a joke. They don’t worry about facts, just throw crap against a wall and hope it brings clicks. Not a single professional on that staff.

Saw this on Twitter. Dude isn’t hugely known but has been practically spot on to this point with things Tennessee. I’d still take it with a grain of salt.
