Would you rather have Osovet or Lebby?

My thing with Osovet is the dynamic from going from kind of the intern to the boss. That would be kind of be naturally odd in that room. He also isn't used to the big stage. Perfect world you have him work his way up the chain as position coach. I know he wants it but he is probably better off working his way up the chain of command for better results

Im encouraged Pruitt keeps looking at these innovative offensive guys, The NFL is 25% Airraid 2.0 now and will continue to grow. The veer, wing t, and option from the old days stretched a defense horizontally, but not vertically.

The airraid by mumme and leach just replaced runs with short passes. But then some people realized we can run the sh!t out of this ball in these sets too, esp with a mobile qb.

Then Briles started outside zone and pulling lineman opposite directions from where DL were taught to key, Bob Stitt using jet and fly motion that Holgerson used to torch Clemson for 70.

Butch's slow developing inside zone was torture. You need to hit it quickly. Everytime Hurd was to dobbs left, it was an inside zone to right or vice versa.. Thats retarded predictability. You let your qb run outside zone as well and the LB's hesitate now.

So a hurry up 3 day install of your offense has spread like wildfire in HS college and getting there in the pros. These twists with RPO, which stretches horizontally and vertically, and Airraid 2.0 mixed with some veer concepts, makes offense easy for the O to learn and execute, and the D really reactive rather than attacking... which is what u want.

Yall gon trip if we hire Lebby, but in a good way when we hang 48 on South Carolina

As a Bears fan I was excited about the hire and he still exceeded expectations (with a lil boost from Gruden). But John Fox and Marc Trestman were his lead-ins. So it didn’t take much.
I still remember so many players gassing up the Marc trestman hire

Not sure how to send a private message on this site, but in a nutshell, your absolute first step is to get a durable POA immediately if you don't already have one along with a DNR if your mother has that wish.

Next find the facility you want you mother to use. They will have a staff member who can and will explain all the details to you from finances to insurance to transport. If your mother requires an ambulance for transport, that also can be arranged and in some cases covered by insurance (medicare/medicaid). I'd recommend you start visiting the facilities closest to your location and work your way out. Go online and look at the reviews. Take tour of each, see the rooms and measure them for furniture as you likely will need to furnish them yourself. Go eat a meal there, and most importantly, take note of the staff and how they relate to the current residents. Find out who the doctors are that will be providing coverage to the facility and research them and how often they visit.

Most women will want their hair and nails done even at older ages. Many facilities will have a beautician full time and an office in the facility. If not, ask about the transportation to and from the one you want to choose.

Finally, you will need to start assembling all...and I mean ALL...information on your mothers finances. Get insurance info, retirement accounts, bank accounts, home ownership, online passwords, etc...any and all investments. And if she's needing to make this transition within the next year or so, do not make any transfers of her assets to other family members. The state will have this info and it will appear you are trying to hide assets from them and that might impact her benefits.

My condolences to you during this difficult time. In the last 3 years, I've lost a mother, father and son. Know how hard this burden is for you. Lean on their staff. They will keep you from missing something.
Thank you.

Lebby is a dangerous hire for Pruitt to make since h has virtually no play calling experience. But hopefully he’ll work out.

I’m all for giving Weinke the boot and bringing tee in to coach RB’s. Massive upgrade in recruiting ability with Tee coming. Pickens might be a real possibility with Tee in his ear.

Makes too much sense, StoVol for OC

Lebby is an interesting candidate. Most people look at Briles system as pass happy, but Briles wanted to run first. He would run at you 20 times until you stopped it, he just spread you out to do it.
Lebby was RB coach for 5 years there. Had 5 thousand yard rushers. And one year was 2nd in the nation in rushing. This year he helped UCF set the school record for rushing with 3,318 yards. And averaged a very balanced 276 yards per game rushing and 269 yards per game passing. He's a really good coach and offensive mind. Still worry about some of the Briles baggage because we went through a similar lawsuit, but him being just a position coach at Baylor he didn't have a lot of the responsibility for that and he didn't seem to be named in any of the suits like Kendall was.

I like it! That yahoo article you shared yesterday was a fantastic breakdown of this stuff. Thanks for posting that.

I had a neighbor growing up who was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Trestman was the brilliant boy wonder on Schottenheimer’s staff. He got his shot when Lindy Infante took the Packers job and flubbed his way through there, Oakland et al until he landed in Canada. Should have stayed there but my team and their brilliant strokes. 😖

Was Lebby one of the guys that got to keep his job at Baylor or was that just Kendal?

The old Gridscape days brings back memories. I lived in Memphis at the time and went to a few of Tennstuds watch parties. Good times
I lived in Memphis for 35 years and made just 1 of his parties. Don't know why I just went to one. I guess I just wanted to watch UT games with my close friends without all the distractions.

Does it feel like anybody cares about this title game? These teams are stacked but will be basically identical to next year so maybe that’s it. I for one don’t care to think about it but I’ll be watching Monday.

Thought I saw his name mentioned on reports from that investigation. But who has time to tape those shredded documents together? If it’s him, does he look in on the RB’s as well iyo? Could lead to Weinke moving to QB’s or if he leaves...Sunseri. Niedermeyer to RB’s with Lebby overseeing both. Discuss.
