I think it is possible we could see a Lebby -Tee co OC. Tee brings the recruiting. Lebby brings the play calling. Tee learns from Lebby so he can get back on the career path he wants. Really strengthens Tee's resume.

Lebby is an interesting candidate. Most people look at Briles system as pass happy, but Briles wanted to run first. He would run at you 20 times until you stopped it, he just spread you out to do it.

Meh

Bottom line is it's another inexperienced playcaller

This hire loses the presser. If it losses when it counts on the field Pruitt is toast

Not excited about Lebby at all (for the Baylor stuff) but the hire makes sense. He’d take the promotion and pay raise and we seem to want someone with an outsiders point of view on offensive systems.

Bringing Tee back would excite me. No one would sell this university to potential recruits than a young, charismatic coach who has reached heights unmatched by anyone else at QB for Tennessee.

We don't have room for 2 guys and I don't see us letting Tee call the plays. Imo if we bring Tee in then we are promoting Friend to OC in that scenario.

I think Pruitt is feeling out every scenario.

I hope we stay as far away from Tee Martin as we can get when it comes to the coordinator position. He is a recruiter.

If we went this route who does Tee replace? He has a better recruiting resume than a lot of guys, but is he a fit culturally?

You might be right there as well.

I could see Lebby or Tee being brought in a position coaches and Friend elevated to OC.

He called passing game at Baylor and has been both a successful RB and QB coach. Supposedly he called 50% of the plays at his current stop.

Very interested in thread. Mother lives 8 hours away and is going down fast. She moved to South Carolina for work and has since been retired. Don't know much about the process of moving her to Tennessee and assisted living.

Not sure how to send a private message on this site, but in a nutshell, your absolute first step is to get a durable POA immediately if you don't already have one along with a DNR if your mother has that wish.

Next find the facility you want you mother to use. They will have a staff member who can and will explain all the details to you from finances to insurance to transport. If your mother requires an ambulance for transport, that also can be arranged and in some cases covered by insurance (medicare/medicaid). I'd recommend you start visiting the facilities closest to your location and work your way out. Go online and look at the reviews. Take tour of each, see the rooms and measure them for furniture as you likely will need to furnish them yourself. Go eat a meal there, and most importantly, take note of the staff and how they relate to the current residents. Find out who the doctors are that will be providing coverage to the facility and research them and how often they visit.

Most women will want their hair and nails done even at older ages. Many facilities will have a beautician full time and an office in the facility. If not, ask about the transportation to and from the one you want to choose.

Finally, you will need to start assembling all...and I mean ALL...information on your mothers finances. Get insurance info, retirement accounts, bank accounts, home ownership, online passwords, etc...any and all investments. And if she's needing to make this transition within the next year or so, do not make any transfers of her assets to other family members. The state will have this info and it will appear you are trying to hide assets from them and that might impact her benefits.

My condolences to you during this difficult time. In the last 3 years, I've lost a mother, father and son. Know how hard this burden is for you. Lean on their staff. They will keep you from missing something.

I'm meh on Lebby but high in the system. It is successful everywhere it goes with that entire Briles crew. Babers didn't call plays at Baylor and was a big hit immediately when he got the chance elsewhere.

My issue would be you have to be all in on the system for the long haul because while it is successful quickly it's also hard to transition from because of the no playbook.

Lebby may have more on paper though after working with Heupel

Could be an interesting wrinkle bring Tee in as a fan appeasement and recruiting addition and promote a guy like Osovet or Friend.

Yeah if you can prevent having to recruit against tee at a ga Tech you probably should look into if there are options to bring him on yours instead. Tee can be a big recruiter in GA and AL areas.

But he’s called plays. NAIA level...but experience. No matter how sexy the hire, RESULTS are the final determinant on Pruitt.
