Won’t really know until Sept 2019. Shoop was the DC everyone wanted, but that didn’t pan out for us. It’s obvious that it was a fail because of fit rather than ability. The better fit may not be the flashiest name, but could yield better results.

Guys common sense will tell you that never in the history of hiring anyone on staff has someone waited this long that I know of. I could be wrong but it seems to me that Pruitt probably put his feelers out and got turned down or rejected right off the bat by multiple people and now he slow-walking this thing and they're very tight on information and they're not letting anything out. Unless Pruitt's asked the New England Patriots to interview Josh McDaniel. In that case I take this all back.

Actually, common sense would go along with the Occam's Razor premise that Pruitt had this pretty much wrapped up a long time ago. Just the fans were the ones freaking out (because of BVS). We shall see soon.
