Whatever. You guys keep slobbering over a has-been. If he is the OC, I won't be excited about it.

2009Washington 5–7
2010Washington 7–6
2011Washington 7–6
2012Washington 7–6
2013Washington 8–4

Yeah Bruin, wow what a bad ass.
When evaluating an OC I don't think win/loss records is a very good barometer. I think you have to look at offensive production.

I'm not slobbering over the guy. I'm not advocating for Sark. I'm just trying to look at it objectively.

feels like there's a lot of this in this thread:

Those that loved Chip Kelly what about his recruiting class?
ESPN only goes to 50, so his class is unranked on there. 17 in this class with the highest rank a 3 star...at UCLA! Billy wanted this for us.

Tell Bruin, he was touting Sark's Husky W/L turn around.

I'm also looking at it objectively and Sark is going to give us more of the same. I don't want the same. Do you?

Agreed to some degree. Offense has to work together with the defense to really matter.

I think it's been posted somewhere here his offensive numbers at Washington were very good.

Would love to see them

I've come to the conclusion that Pruitt needs to open a business that uses a lot of misc spending and leases it's items frequently....

I agree. He's run both, and where's he been more successful? Was Spurrier successful in the NFL? I'm not trying to compare the 2, i'm just using Spurrier as an example. I can't write him off for not being successful in the NFL.

NFL playcallers are tested so much more than college OCs there is just no comparison
He would be an absolute HR hire

Sark was good there. There is no denying that. Also, can you think of another situation where a coach gets hired away (not fired) and the school he leaves gets a 100% upgrade.

Yes, although it also involves Chris Petersen when he took over for Dan Hawkins at Boise State when Hawkins left for Colorado.

USC

2006 (Lane Kiffin OC) - 30.5 PPG
2007 (Sarkisian OC) - 32.6 PPG
2008 (Sarkisian OC) - 37.5 PPG
2009 (After Sark) - 26.5 PPG

Washington

2008 (Ty Willingham HC) - 13.2 PPG
2009 (Sarkisian HC) - 26.1 PPG
2010 (Sarkisian HC) - 21.8 PPG
2011 (Sarkisian HC) - 33.4 PPG
2012 (Sarkisian HC) - 24.0 PPG
2013 (Sarkisian HC) - 37.9 PPG

USC (again)

2013 (Kiffin HC) - 29.7 PPG
2014 (Sarkisian HC) - 35.8 PPG
2015 (5 games Sarkisian / 9 games Helton) - 39.8 PPG / 30.67 PPG

He's done better with the talent he had at USC than pretty much anyone since or during the Carroll era, and really elevated the Washington offense while he was there.
Bump. @BruinVol

Names left on the board?

We’ll be taking a look at that over the next 24-36 hours. Don’t worry.

For now, some of the main names left on the board include Darnell Wright, Henry To’oto’o, Maurice Hampton, Jammie Robinson, George Pickens, Arjei Henderson, Khris Bogle, Christopher Russell, Octavius Brothers, Kristian Williams, JaVonta Payton and maybe Charles Moore.

-Callahan

Edit: Callahan clarified, these are Feb signees on that list

How did TX A&M and AU do so well yesterday? Guess it wasn't Jimbo, it was FLST that was imploding... AU gonna have to go take out a loan on the stadium with all the money bagmen prolly spent... only way... staff won't be there much longer.

Lol

Do some more research

Wins losses went from 0/12 to 8 wins AND went from 13 pts to 37 pts a game

If you don't want the same you aren't very smart my man

I don't want him, so I guess I'm not. I don't expect him to come here anyway, even if he is fired which he probably will be.

Not wanting him is plenty fair but your reasoning isn't in the realm of reality

So yea if he is going to give us more of the same you are damn right we want him and you should to

You really should argue his drinking or personal life will hamper him from repeating his previous college success. That argument might hold water but your post so far are really lacking of reality

I'm sure he left those off by accident, save the conclusion jumping. "some of the main names left on the board include"

Thanks... interesting though... He doesn't seem like the kind of guy at this point in the recruiting season to get sloppy and leave out some big names by accident, unless he was in a hurry to make a statement...
