AV is good people, but yikes I can’t take him seriously anymore.

You guys don't understand Jack about recruiting and kids and what they say and do. @Atlanta VOL these guys that like this don't deserve your time appreciate you but I would stop posting because these jack ***** don't deserve your time

It's not a bad class, just a bunch of belly achin cry babies who jump at the chance to bitch!!!

So it's not okay to hope for more and feel disappointed when we don't get it? That breeds mediocrity. People can go too far with their disappointment, but it's not wrong to want better.

What is the excuse for Pruitt now, last year it was he didnt have enough time to recruit. Yet here we are once again and it's the same song and dance

Today, Clemson has signed: 2 5*...10 4*...14 3*

In the end, our class could look very similar to theirs...although, they are in the CFP for the fourth year in a row, and we are 9-15 over the last two yrs; yet, people bit*h.
Some prople think with their emotions unfortunately.

AV posts what he hears, and what he hears comes from someone else in the program and so on and so forth. It's a game of telephone, and one that can be completely undone when a recruit isn't honest (see Gabe Wright, Quay Walker, now Joseph Anderson, etc.). So if you take the info as absolute fact then that's on you, and chasing a poster around a forum to "check his stats" or any of the other idiotic behavior that's gone on today is just sad.

Besides, keeping our S&C is a huge deal. I expect a lot of last year's freshman to make strides this off-season.

Guys like Emerson, JJ, Lawless, Carvin, Gooden, Mincey, Ollie, etc.

It would take a miracle for our staff to turn Lawless into a player.

I can’t help but wonder if we landed an OC, or had a plan in place...it wouldn’t have helped create a little buzz and could’ve helped in recruiting.

We have an OC (95% am i rite?). We just needed to keep Helter Skelter on the recruiting trail so we could land some yuge commits.

Before everyone jumps off a ledge with our swings for the fences today, we already have surpassed the 247 composite points from last year with only 21 current commits. If we were to add Wright, Crouch, Gray, we’d have 268.46. That would of been good for right around the 10th best class last year (and is currently around 10 this year).

Points:
2018 - 231.34 (22 commits)
2019 - 243.09 (21 commits)
2019 - 268.46 (add Wright, Crouch, Gray)
If we land Wright/Crouch/Gray:

2019 Pruitt
2 5-stars
9 4-stars
13 3-stars
268.46 points
90.22 average
2007 Saban
0 5-stars
8 4-stars
16 3-stars
241.78 points
87.81 average

The fact that we're coming off 2-14 in the SEC the last two years and doing as well as we are is impressive. Even Saban didn't recruit like Saban coming off of his first 7-6 year.
The 90.22 average would also be the highest for us since 2009, we've majorly beefed up our biggest position of need at OL, added some JUCO stopgaps for the DL, and have gotten a solid player at every position on the field. Use this to solidify our place above Kentucky/Vandy/USCe/Mizzou and work from there.
