Nothing wrong with his current roster unless you've forgotten that ours is composed of 3*s and players others thought 'not good enough.' He needs to work on his offense if he's gonna do anything there. Talent was 95 percent of what they were able to do against us but talent can only carry you so far when you run up against a well coached team. Scheme wise I wasn't impressed at all.

To be fair, Penny’s current roster isn’t all that good. Davenport, Brewton, and Parks are Juco guys who Tubby recruited. Davenport has talent but played over his head today. Lomax and Harris will be good but are undersized freshman. They really don’t have a top 75 player on their roster.

All that said, they will have top half talent in their league. They should end up in the top 6 or maybe higher. The question on the Penny hire was always going to be floor coaching. I thought Tony Matlock or Sam Mitchell would help that. Regardless, they will start to have the best talent in their league next year, so they should start winning 20+ games.

If we play Kansas again in March, we beat them by at least 10.

We are that good and will only continue to get better. We aren't the most exciting team but we have a great mix of athleticism, experience, depth, defense, amd coaching.

Only flaw we have is we are missing a lights out outside shooter.

Can't wait to see what this team can do come March.

So we have news of an announcement on Wednesday then multiple reports on Osovet. A couple of which his wife tweets. It's fine but that was an effin stupid search to end back at the beginning.
