A few things running around my head.
- Pruitt has met with several coaches without any sign of contract talks.
- A few media guys have stated that Pruitt is taking his time with the search and it might go on until 2019.
- It's been mentioned that Briles frequently meets with coaches to just talk offensive philosophies and exchange ideas. Wouldn't be surprised if Freeze/Yurcich did the same.
- The people interviewed by Pruitt (Freeze/Briles/Yurcich/Lebby) are all air-raid super-tempo guys who run an offense that is the polar opposite of what Pruitt said he wanted at his opening press conference.
- Rivals guys have mentioned that not everybody interviewed by Pruitt was in consideration for the OC job.
Is it possible that Pruitt is meeting with these guys to get a handle on if this philosophy might hack it in the SEC? To exchange ideas while the actual target (maybe an NFL guy / or Enos) is still stuck with his team?
Not trying to go all "National Enquirer" here, just thought some of this stuff was interesting.
