We get 10 assistant coaches.

Can we do...

OC - Briles
QB - Lebby
RB - Nieds
WR - DJohnson
OT/TE - Friend - that keeps him w Wanya and Darnell
OL/Run Game - Clement
DC/LB - Sherrer
DL - Rocker
OLB - Rumph
DB/ST - Kelly (w CJP help)

That has Fair and Weinke leaving as some have alluded to.

Since we are speculating...
OC/QB - Briles
RB - Neids
TE - Lilly
Offensive Analyst - Clement or Lebby
Everything else stays the same

Now THIS is the content I’m here for

Seems to me that it's possible that Pruitt interviewed Briles and Lebby at the same place and maybe at the same time. I have a hard time believing that Pruitt did in person interviews with two different people in two different states, especially when one of them was said to have taken hours and he was back on campus last night recruiting.

In my mind, it seems to indicate that the Lebby interview is much more likely to be gauging his interest in coming on board if Briles is indeed the hire at OC. Or perhaps, he met with both Briles and Lebby at the same place and talked about what both of them bring to the table and why it is important to bring Lebby with him.

Jmo.
You think that has anything to do with why the interviews were not on campus?

Here it is guys, the kick in the nuts hire. Bank on it:

Mike Lebby, the QB coach at UCF per Hubbs is another candidate coach interviewed yesterday
Trying to catch up, so someone may have responded to your post… Did you ever think that maybe the OC we are hiring is not a QB coach, so Pruitt is interviewing candidates for that position as well? Maybe the OC we are hiring can coach RBs so if Weinke is leaving, then we need a QB coach.

Newberg of FSU 247 said he has heard conflicting info on Briles wanting to bring a coach with him. FSU is in same spot as us that they will not let go their oL coach. I don't know about the rest of their spots though. So they may be more flexible.

They also had a poster ask him about Yurich. He claims when Pruitt called Yurich he was told he is staying until a HC job comes along.

I don't see us getting Briles. You had to seal the deal when you had chance and can't let him interview anywhere else.
Any chance we are interviewing Briles about who our main focus for the position is, but it is not Briles? And while we are doing that, we are getting interest for him from other big programs. Kind of a win-win situation if that makes sense.

I disagree completely. The Heisman is for the most valuable player, correct? OU’s defense was ranked 60 spots behind TENNESSEE and their in the playoffs. Without him, that doesn’t happen. We saw what happens when Tua left the game. They still win. JMO...

Damn. Kyler already had a compelling argument, imo, but when you put it that way....
