Kyler
Tua
Haskins. Jmo.

That's probably how it will go down. It's like how in 2018 you still have baseball journalists who rely on metrics like RBI and batting average in their evaluation of player performance. There are far better metrics that exist which give you better insight into how a player's performance, and their effect on a team's outcomes.

Thank you all for the encouragement and prayers as we faced the hardest day of my life so far as we got my dad settle into his new home at the advanced memory care at Morning Point here in Chatttown. It had to be done my mom was really going down trying to care for him. I can now get some stress off of me as mom always calls me for help (which of course I don't mind). Been reading when I can and now hope I can get back to talking football with my Vol maniacs. lol
You and your family have absolutely made the right decision. Professional care is what your dad needs and it wouldn't hurt for you to seek grievance counseling if you start to have doubts about moving him to his new home. Still praying for you and your family. Stay the course.

Has there been any new info posted anywhere on JP's meeting with Briles and how it went or is everything still very quiet?

I want Kyler to win it, but he doesn’t deserve it.

I disagree completely. The Heisman is for the most valuable player, correct? OU’s defense was ranked 60 spots behind TENNESSEE and their in the playoffs. Without him, that doesn’t happen. We saw what happens when Tua left the game. They still win. JMO...

I'm just tired of hearing about Peyt...I mean Tua, so let's find someone new and exciting to give it to.

It is obviously all subjective, but I think he set the bar very very high. So many times Bama had the game well in hand before the first quarter was over. With Hurts (a very good college qb) they could have won. With Tua, it was simply no contest before the half was over, most of the time.
I haven't paid attention to the Heistman award since the Peyton ordeal. But if Kyler Murray wins it, I don't think OU should even come on the field for the playoff game! Bama will hang 70 on them!

We are Tennessee though. Where schemes and philosophies come to die
Phil Fulmer: Whose side are you on, son?
BVS Fan: Our side, sir.
Phil Fulmer: Don't you love your Vols?
BVS Fan: Yes, sir.
Phil Fulmer: Then how about getting with the program? Why don't you jump on the team and come on in for the big win?
BVS Fan: Yes, sir.
Phil Fulmer: Son, all I've ever asked of my Vol Fans is that they obey my orders as they would the word of God. We are here to help the Sec, because inside every bammer there is a Vol Fan trying to get out. It's a hardball world, son. We've gotta keep our heads until this Saban craze blows over.
BVS Fan: Aye-aye, sir.
