That fake punt is designed to be run against punt safe. They waited too long to snap the the ball. It was a great play design, but should have never been called at 50 yard line so late in a tie balll game.
You can criticized the call, but the play was there if Fields had not waited so long to snap the ball. Again, Smart could have used a timeout to abort the call.

You Can only have a certain number of staffers recruiting on the road and on campus. And each individual has to be approved, take a test, and basically on a “recruiting” roster submitted to the ncaa that basically says these are the people that are recruiting for us.

They better not eat at the student center at the same time and what happens if the pick the same bathroom to take a chief in? We are leaving bags everywhere and you don’t think we could figure this out? It honestly doesn't make sense for it to be Freeze. The only thing that makes sense is we are in holding pattern until Bama makes a decision and we get to graze the leftovers.

So let me clarify. Brice was at the game on Saturday and there most of the day. The info HE was getting was from someone else who WAS on campus, obviously. He shared what he was told to my buddy, then it came to us. I’m just passing along what I hear. Not saying anything is gospel or trying to pose. I’ll just keep it to myself and our group from here on in. I don’t want to lead anyone wrong or send the wrong impression. Cool? Cool.

Idk if that’s true maybe but one thing i did hear was that Hugh wanted to bring someone with him. And that may be the big holdup.
