Well, we can certainly agree to disagree. However, you either agree he is worth the risk of hiring or you don't. Once that determination is made, then the decision to pursue him and the price it takes to do so are mutually exclusive. If you believe he is worth hiring, then you have to pay him what the going rate is expected to be. If that is $1.6 mil, then it's not too much. It just is what it is.Well, I can reiterate. Baggage is why not. you are taking a chance on a guy who has screwed up in the past and is looking for a second chance. That is too much money to pay him when he is the one getting the chance from Tennessee. We will just have to agree to disagree on that.
sources are outdated.....CJP already interviewed HF.Hyams said on ST about an hour ago, he was told there were some, meaning at least 2 in the administration that had not and would not sign off on hiring CHF. Hyams was surprisingly critical of said administration, saying this should all have been ironed out before CJP was given the ok to even talk to CHF. TIFWIW

So does every single person in the administration have to sign off on it?I know CJP and CHF talked yesterday. You need to reread what I posted more carefully. Hyams was saying if everyone in the administration still was not on board a day after the fact, why even allow them to talk in the first place EARLIER.
I think we give ourselves entirely too much credit on that issue. The Shiano Revolt was much more widespread than just a message boardI honestly wonder if after the whole schiano fiasco if the university checks sites like volnation to get a fan reaction feel to make sure we don’t have another revolt.
I would
Haslams pouting over Schiano. F'em.Hyams said on ST about an hour ago, he was told there were some, meaning at least 2 in the administration that had not and would not sign off on hiring CHF. That answer probably depends on whom you consider administration? The BIG DONARS aren't technically in the administration, but what they say, usually ends up happening. Money talks, ya know. Hyams said a short while ago, that he has now heard two different things from two different sources. 1) That it was a done deal now. 2) There are still certain people who will not agree to bringing Freeze in due to his past. So who the heck knows. I can tell you this. When Hyams reported falsely that Brohm from Purdue would be announced as our next HC, that came directly from the Haslem camp, and as we all know, that didn't end up happening. It would appear the Haslems have less influence than in years past, but how much less is anyone's guess. As mentioned, money talks, so it will be interesting to see what what happens in the end. Stay tuned lol.So does every single person in the administration have to sign off on it?
So Hyams is saying that either Freeze will be hired or He will not. That answer probably depends on whom you consider administration?
