I agree if true

I don't believe it is true but we all do know Freezes issues are

I doubt we'll hire Freeze so it's likely irrelevant but I don't think that Freeze phoning up escorts is a giant moral stain that can't be overcome. In the grand scheme of things, it's a lesser crime that really has no bearing on anything other than his family/relationship with his wife. Football coaches aren't exactly known for being pillars of morality nor do we really expect them to be (unless they're coaching for the other team then we're happy to call out all their sins).

His cheating for recruits issue is a problem only if you think he's too stupid to keep from getting caught again but all of us are cheating in some way or another.

I think the main issue people have are his days prior to being a college football coach.

Imo Pruitt is going to confine any OC as well
I think we already saw that this year
I can see your line of thinking. However what if he really never trusted Helton, and knew Friend wasn't up to the task? Therefore allowing him to tell his new OC to run it with a minor framework that Pruitt wants.

None of that ever went anywhere though. I think if it were going to come out beyond rumors/innuendo it would've when it all came crashing down on him at OM. Both he and OM have a lot of money that no one (other than Houston Nutt) went after.

Musta been something to the allegations if he was willing to leave 15M on the table. Now, what that something was... I have no clue. But the guys has a past.

I love Auburn’s offense. Granted you need an athletic QB to execute it. But it’s very creative and makes it easy to get playmakers the ball in space.

He wouldn't run auburn offense. HE would use concept from it but his offense would be More multiple like his previous stops. His background is more air raid/Monken/Probst influenced than gus. He will likely use some of gus stuff but not as base

He left that on the table at OM due to the escort issue and the cheating issue. His time prior to OM didn't enter into it. OM had every right to fire him for cause when Houston Nutt's lawyer dug up phone records showing he dialed an escort service and that's exactly what they did in response. However, OM would've never fired Freeze (they'd have kept him even with the NCAA penalties) had Nutt's lawyer not made it public.

Maybe but I think confined was more personell related. Pruitt even said several times on his show there was a call he didn't like that didn't work or a call he didn't like that he was glad Tyson didTn listen to him. I take that to be like any HC he gives input but Tyson had final say on play call most times

may all be true. But I believe there are bigger issues that go back To his days at Briarcrest.

I remember the story about him paddling some girl in his office and before he paddled her he made some sort of whooping sound 😂 I remember laughing my arse off when I read it

I remember that too. When all those stories were coming out I expected a lot more but the only real conclusion was: Hugh Freeze is weird.

I’m terrified that McElwain will get the job
