Is it just me but as a Defensive minded coach why wouldn't u just go out and get the guy you hated to have to scheme against or vice versa if u where an offensive minded coach

I've cooled on the thought of freeze.

Enos probably won't get out of Tuscaloosa.

Not sure McClendon's a long enough term solution.

Lindsey checks pretty much all the boxes.

If it's not a promotion from the current staff, I think Lindsey makes the most sense.

It’s totally fair.

There is no evidence linking Schiano to anything. It was entirely circumstantial and weak even then. But it was a hell of a good excuse to keep from hiring him.

There is legit evidence linking Freeze to the point that it’s fact what he did.

We would get lambasted for hiring Freeze and rightfully so.

I’m not saying that we wouldn’t still get hell for it - I wouldn’t care either way honestly - but the comparison is still not fair. Whether Freeze did what he did or not doesn’t make buying hookers worse than covering up for a pedophile. It’s not even close to the same crime. If a grown woman wants to sell her body without paying a pimp or being filmed they should have that authority. Hell its the entrepreneurial American Dream.

Even if Freeze did what he’s been accused of and Shiano didn’t - Give me the guy that bought hookers over a guy who is in anyway associated with covering for a pedo. Pedos and whoever covers for them is a good enough reason for me to bring back public hangings. To hell with em.

With Gus getting the restructured deal/buy out there is no leverage or stability for Lindsey. He needs to get out of there. He and Pruitt go way back, he was rumored to be our Ocoord before Helton anyway. It just makes too much sense.
