Rumors flying

No you don't but untill you can you need to stop saying it.

And Peyton doesn't need the Haslams to own an NFL team.
I had to go back and see how this got started. Not even worth the time. Peyton is not a Punk and that's a fact. I don't have any prominent member of society to verify that, actually I do, but I pinky swore not to say anything, you just have to believe me.

Actually I can say what I want. Not about criticizing someone’s right to free speech, bud.

Once again, that’s your opinion and you are entitled to that. I can form my opinion off what I know to be fact. It’s all Gucci...

What does "selling for" mean? I remember being disappointed in hearing Peyton supported Currie in hiring Schiano, but that's all I remember hearing/reading.

Anyway, I guess when it comes to reports from the media, we believe what we want to believe, or not.

He was on ESPN multiple times selling Dooley and Butch. I also thought he was on the record about Schiano too but it was a tweet or article though because there wasn’t enough time for a TV spot.

Peyton has expressed interest in some of his commercials about “being in a “band”. Obviously code for “soon”. Also I heard from a friend that he wore orange socks for those spots. The implications are obvious.

if he's wearing an orange tie in his next nationwide commercial, you can bet he'll be on the flight tracker to TYS.... soon

Selling Butch and trying to sell Schiano and being a Haslam shill has did more damage than any donation he’s made for the tax write off. That’s fine. We can have a difference of opinion. I’m sure Peyton is happy Phil is AD now but he was one of the biggest reasons he didn’t get the job earlier when Currie landed the job. It’s fine to agree to disagree. Just don’t mudsling and yuck it up.

By the way, all of the above statements are true about his actions. So don’t come at me with the “you say keep it clean and no mudslinging, but look what you said”

Everything I said is fact in regards to Peyton and the AD search, and Schiano salesjob.
Unconfirmed “facts” and you can’t produce one quote from him to complete the CONFIRM portion. He’s a super fan who carries more weight due to him contributing way more. Simple FACT is that he’s never made a DECISION that’s impacted the program. It’s like being bitter at the guy down the street who you HEARD didn’t have an issue with Schiano. Hate him if it helps you with your personal issues...doesn’t affect him as who he silently backed or didn’t back didn’t affect our coaching search...facts. 😎

I definitely did not get this thru Twitter, message boards, or media folks.

I just know thru a prominent someone. Will leave it at that. I don’t have to prove anything to you. Widely known that Peyton and Manning’s want a NFL team and that Peyton shilled for Haslams on Schiano.

And who’d he shill TO? These faceless big guys you reference? Seen this NFL franchise conspiracy floated before. Bunk.

He’s a VFL on TV backing the current coach? String him up! I know that’s unforgivable to you reds.

So you’re saying as fact the Mannings are wanting a NFL team in the near future? Even though it is widely known?

I know it is unpopular but i dont want Peyton as OC. If he wants an OC job he needs to cut his chops up the ranks of coaching. A great QB does not necessarily translate to a great coach.
Every recruit would come to play for him.
