He already finished serving his one year suspension. There is no issue preventing Freeze from being hired now.

He’s definitely not an awful Oline coach, he’s a great Oline coach and I mean great. Look at his history. You can’t say he’s horrible because of this year. I still Want a different OC preferably Freeze or Briles, but don’t know any Oline coach I would trade Friend for.

I agree, which is why I said the admin isnt dedicated to winning and why no proven coach will come here. Of course, whats his face said I was stupid for saying it. He believe this admin is totally into winning.

As tough as Pruitt comes across I think deep down hes got some insecurities, like the majority of college coaches. So I think he only wants to surround himself with people he trust, even if that means there are better options out there. It's no secret the 2 are good friends, so I think that's where hes comfortable. I think you'll see this drag on past signing day and right before spring practice Friend will be promoted. IMO if you're going to succeed at a place like this you can't be the smartest guy in the room, you have to surround yourself with people better than you in some aspects.

This exactly. Pruitt thinks he is on the first or second floor of Macy’s in Manhattan shopping for a coordinator and the guys making the approvals will tell him that he needs to take the wooden escalators to the bargain basement to make a choice. If this actually happens I hope Pruitt calls them out.

Exactly. Fulmer has to remember that a poor OC choice cost him his job in 08. And Pruitt being a defensive dude surely will go after the best OC he can find. He knows the natives are getting restless after ten years of suck.
But I have zero confidence in the admin on the Hill getting out of their way. Until they prove otherwise, I will assume they make the worst decision possible.
