"I think the Hugh Freeze stuff has some legs"

It could take a while but high powered attorneys could prove and have his name removed without him ever making a court appearance
First off, you can't sue someone for defamation based on testimony in a court proceeding, so your entire premise is bogus. Second, you do understand what McQuery testified to don't you? McQuery testified that some guy (who I will call Mr. X) told McQuery that another guy (who I will call Mr. Y) told Mr. X that Schiano told him (Mr. Y) that he (Schiano) saw something. So third hand basically. Both Mr. X and Mr. Y denied knowing anything about Schiano as it pertains to McQuery's testimony btw. Incredibly flimsy, it's why nothing came of it. Third, you can't unring a bell, once someone says something, it's out there forever, it's why, we the listeners have a duty not to be morons and demand evidence when people are accused of things.

No, but I guess prostitution & adultery is ok for the role model of our student athletes.

What exactly do you think NFL players do in their spare time?? These guys are trying to get to the NFL and own sex houses right beside the Spring camp fields like the 90's Cowboys used to do lol

Other than nostalgia I can't, for the life of me, figure why anyone puts weight to anything Jimmy says.

If he's still coaching football, what's the point?
Isn't that the reason the national media used as reasoning behind him not getting hired here? If that were the case wouldn't you want to clear your name for future consideration?

Long story short, I don't care if Freeze comes here. I personally don't think he will. I didn't want Schiano or any other coach that could have potentially been a part of that mess at PSU. In terms of what Freeze did in calling escorts, that's between him, his wife and his creator.

Some of the people who are going out of their way to defend Schiano are causing me to wonder what sort of sick skeletons they have in their closets.

More like typical TN fans thinking a big name was in play. I dare to wager that Hugh was never even called.
Which makes no sense, UT has some of the highest paid coaches in the country, yet, we don't pay anyone good who has actually been worth hiring lol

Cherry Street is not that big and there isn't much on it. Magnolia is closer to an East Knox main street.
Can confirm, I lived on Skyline Drive for a few years in college. South of 40, Magnolia is basically the Kingston Pike of East Knoxville.
We might not need to inform Freeze about Cherry Street if he comes to town.

You're dang right I'll defend due process, call me whatever you like.
If he's not being prosecuted, he is not entitled to due process. The allegation is out there. We know he was in the building and we know what went on therein. People are free to draw their own conclusions.

No, you don't know any of that. McQuery testified that some guy told him that a third guy told the second guy that Schiano told the third guy that he'd seen something. Both of the other guys said McQuery was full of ****. It's triple hearsay, McQuery couldn't testify that he had seen Schiano do anything, only that he heard third hand that Schiano had seen something. I'm really, really glad that we didn't get Schiano, but I'm sorry I have to call a spade a spade here, his "connection" to the Penn State affair is incredibly tenuous and most likely entirely made up.
