"I think the Hugh Freeze stuff has some legs"

JG doesn’t have any chances with any offense. Says the numerous blind side sacks that he never eludes.
I have been saying this for 2 years. He doesn't see the field at all. He telegraphs all of his passes, under throws deep routes constantly, over throws short passes and constantly throws out of bounds on 3rd down instead of at least giving a WR a chance to make a play. I hate to be so critical because he is a tough kid but he needs serious development which I don't believe would help his field vision at all or we need to move on to the next guy up.

i don't know the answer to this but was freeze under a show clause when saban was trying to bring him in?

"As pointed out by Al.com, Sankey was able to squash the move thanks to a new rule in the SEC bylaws concerning Hiring Practices that requires schools to get the commissioner’s blessing for any candidates with a “major infraction” on their record:

Sankey could easily be replaced in my opinion.

I expect a move on. Hence why Shrout was moved up to the Number 3 spot this year. I expect Shrout especially with a new OC coming in to get looks at being the starter if he even exhibits a small portion of ability to see the field and extend plays.

I expect the lineup next year to be Shrout / JG / Maurer

That's great for fans to say cause it sounds cool...not so great for the university.
The NCAA isn’t too far away from getting told that by some major universities. It only takes a couple of schools to give them the middle finger for that house to collapse, and with their extreme misuse of power, I think it eventually happens.

Schools like Miami and UNC are already doing that.

Don’t think Fuller would like it, but I would be very happy with a hire like that. Gotta get the guys in on the OL though
Kyle Fuller...Bears CB? Doubt he cares and he needs to practice catching interceptions because he owes us for the Packers game.

Yeah okay. Tennessee isn't the school to do that. Plus I don't think Pruitt hires someone that can take is job (not literally but has the coaching ability to do so). This is an issue you face when you hire an up and comer rather than established coach. They don't want to be overshadowed by someone with proven ability.

The universities don’t need the NCAA. Its there to protect the athletes and to police the cheating, but I’d say Bama proves that they’re failing at the policing. And when a kid can’t get a free box of popcorn without 2,000 pieces of paperwork, something is wrong.
