They are. They are hitting a high percentage of shots. Shooting better from the free throw line than we are, and right now they're wanting it just a tad more too. Weve played well on offense, but our defense has not caused them to be uncomfortable much at all. Not defending the 3 at all either.
Beat Kansas Friday. Beat Gonzaga Dec 9. Vols #1?
Would be awesome.
Yeah lots of things have to go right but fun to think about! Could be #1 heading into our game at Memphis. Would somehow seem like we’ve come full circle in basketball...
All I see is increased Revenue for the UT Athletic Department. I fully support that.#1 seed in Dance.
Yea I’d prefer to never be No. 1
The bottom is bad. A&M has multiple losses, UF has already lost twice, UGA just got killed by Georgia State, Bama lost to Northeastern, USC lost to a low major, Missouri is not good, OM won’t be great, and MSU, who is ranked, just lost. Very mediocre after UK, Auburn, us, and maybe LSU.
Free throw shooting is a concern for me as well. We know what they're capable of from last year. My hope is they'll get their touch back as the season progresses. They've been disappointing so far this year.Barnes has a very good team that can go a long way in the NCAA Tournament if they stay healthy. I know they have a really solid starting five and a pretty good bench. The one concern I have is their free throw shooting. They shot better from the free throw line last year with the same players. Maybe it's just a lack of concentration. Bad free throw shooting will get you beat in close games.

And preparation for next year when sapp and possibly Kirkland transfer. From David Ubben twitter

Freshman Jeremy Banks was working exclusively with the first-team defense at ILB during the open period.
I’d consider that both an endorsement of him making a full-time move and the health of the RB group.
